Hello! My name is Margaret! I’m new here, and excited to start my part time position becoming your house sitter, cleaner, or pet sitter. I can also pick up kids from school, do laundry or errands and things of that nature. I can provide people who can attest that I am trustworthy, kind, and that I learn very quickly! I am super diligent and hardworking and most of all, focused. Hope to talk to you soon!
“Margaret has been a fantastic helper for our family. She's always punctual and reliable. She works really hard and takes directions well. She takes on any new household task that we throw her way with enthusiasm. We are very happy to have found her and grateful for her support.”
I am a full time employee as a diesel mechanic at a local tractor shop and a part time student. I also am in the middle of trying to get my own small business up and running. When I am not at school I am hanging out with my family, cooking family dinners or cleaning or maybe even studying for my classes! I have taken three years of American Sign Language in High School. I am not fluent but will be more than happy to try my best if it will come in handy! (Please be understanding I am rusty since I don’t use it much) If you have any questions at all please feel free to message me!
“Ashley was great. Showed up on time and had an easy-going engagement with my son. She fed him and put him to bed, and Nik had a great time.”
Hi Bay Area neighbors! My name is Astrid, and I'm a responsible and energetic careworker invested in providing fun and culturally informed care. I am adaptable to your unique family needs and want to create a fun and safe environment for your family. I'm currently a master of social work student and aspiring birthworker with experience caring for children, teens, and adults in a mental health capacity. I also have experience caring for infants, toddlers, and elementary-aged children, older adults and pets. I was raised by my grandmother who ran a small at-home daycare which sparked my passion for supporting healthy family ecosystems. Nowadays, I'm a tía to a 1-year-old baby and a cat mom to 2 rambunctious kittens. Because I am a full-time student with a day-time mental health worker job, I'm looking for one-time, occasional and part-time work. Please message me with your questions and inquiries. Let's see if we'd be a good fit!
“Astrid has been caring for me and my baby since my pregnancy. I’m a first time, young mom and Astrid was there for overnight support, she was available throughout the evening for diaper changes, warming up bottles and making sure my baby was fed, warm and happy. As my baby grew up Astrid has been great at making sure baby gets age appropriate play, including dancing and reading. Astrid often takes her on walks and fun local trips like the beach! She’s an integral part of our family and I know she’ll treat your family with the same respect, punctuality and care.”
Hi everyone! My name is Francesca and I’m currently a full time graduate student looking to work closer to my school with a more flexible schedule. I currently go to school for psychology in a dual masters program for MFT/LPC and forensic psychology. I also work with children 11-17 years old that struggle with their mental health that also have various medical conditions which helps provide me knowledge and experience when it comes to medical emergencies. Not only am I BLS certified, but both of my parents are also nurses so I’ve been around medical knowledge for a very long time. I love working with children of all ages and enjoy cleaning, cooking, and taking care of others. I have experience with kids of all ages from 3 months old to 17 years old. My babysitting experience started when I was 16 years old and began in the family. I took care of my baby cousins who were 8 months old and 6 years old. The 8 month old baby boy is also autistic which taught me so much patience and understanding at such a young age which I continued to grow and develop these skills. The most recent family I was a babysitter for moved to Texas a couple years ago but the children in my care were 18 months old and 4 years old. I was with the family for 3 years but within those years, it has taught me so much and brought so much joy into my life. Activities I enjoy doing are teaching children new skills, tutoring for school, and playing games with kids to keep their minds and bodies active. Working in my current job has also taught me many new arts and crafts skills that I enjoy teaching and sharing with others. When it comes to senior care, I only have experience through family. I have had close relatives who unfortunately became very sick and dependent of care takers and I was able to have the experience of taking care of them by helping transfer them from a wheelchair to the bed, adjusting their bed to ensure stability and comfort, how to keep them clean and fed, and to also keep their minds occupied and happy. I am naturally a caretaker and enjoy being able to care for all no matter the age. I am able to help cook, clean, run errands, and provide transportation. I have a great love for animals of all kind and would also enjoy/be comfortable working with them as well. I’ve had animals all of my life and currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats who I love spending my time with.
Hello! My name is Jia and I am a recent graduate from San Francisco State University. I have an extensive background working with children, mainly grades K-6th. I have worked at an afterschool/summer program for 6 years (2 years volunteer, 4 years paid), looking after around 50 kids at a time. My roles there included chaperoning on daily park trips and weekly field trips, taking care of lunch and cleanup operations, as well as tutoring on math and English. My top priority is to always ensure the children are safe, but also to add some fun into their day! I understand that every child has different needs, so I’m always adapting and learning as I go. I can assist with cooking/meal prepping, cleaning, and running any errands as well if necessary. I also speak Mandarin and Cantonese!

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
