Hello! I'm a dedicated and loving nanny with 20 years of experience caring for children aged 2 months to 12 years in the Bay Area. Originally from New Zealand, I hold a National Nanny Certificate (NZNNC) and am certified in Infant/Child CPR & First Aid. I'm also Trustline certified. In addition to my nanny experience, I've worked in preschools, taught swimming lessons, and lifeguarded. I'm passionate about providing top-notch care and creating fun, engaging activities for kids. I'm familiar with baby sign language and enjoy arts and crafts, baking, and outdoor adventures. *Currently Seeking:* - Evening and weekend babysitting hours (flexible schedule) - Families who value honesty about health and are COVID-cautious, no sick child care. - Easy parking available for SF jobs (I live in Daly City) *About Me:* - As a mom of two teenagers (16 and 17), I've honed my skills in supporting kids' growth and development. - I enjoy activities like arts and crafts, walks, and trips to the beach. If you're looking for a reliable, caring, and experienced nanny, I'd love to chat!
Hi my name is Krystal and I have been babysitting since I was about 12 or 13 and love it! I babysit children of all ages and enjoy playing outside games or even staying inside to play. In my spare time I enjoy watching and playing sports, baking, and volunteering! I have volunteered at soup kitchens, marathons, and the Ronald McDonald House!
As a recent graduate of UCSC and moved back to the Bay Area. I am passionate about working with children and have a strong background in educational and caregiving settings. I hold a CPR certification and am eager to continue learning and teaching. Growing up in a family of Montessori educators, I was deeply involved in the school my mother and sister worked at in Pacifica, volunteering and gaining hands-on experience. Over two years, I also worked with Mad Science of the Bay Area, leading after-school and summer programs for children ages 3-12. This experience included engaging activities and educational experiences to foster creativity and learning. Additionally, I have provided nanny care for multiple families, including caring for sets of twins and a family of four, where I was responsible for coordinating activities, preparing meals, and providing tutoring support. Since relocating from Santa Cruz County, I worked at Tara Redwood School as an assistant teacher, supporting children ages 2-9 in a variety of classroom settings. In addition, I have experience dog-sitting and house-sitting, providing a well-rounded skill set in both caregiving and home management. I am excited to continue applying my experience and nurturing qualities to help children grow and thrive.
“We've worked with Crystal for a while now and, while I'm behind getting her review in, I can now speak with experience that she is wonderful to work with and very good with our three kids. They look forward to her coming and we feel totally at ease leaving them in her care. We're very grateful for her kind demeanor and thoughtful caretaking!”
I grew up with 3 sisters and 2 brothers and we had dogs and cats. I played sports and first babysat at the age of 13. I love the beach and body surfing, I love to sing to the little ones and teach them songs, I like to have fun reading books, eating food, playing with just about anything (just a glass of ice water is entertainment for 30 minutes with a 15 month old-- yes, ice.. first it's solid and then magic-it disappears). I love to problem solve... or use the tool of distraction. And I do believe that "to every task that must be done there is an element of fun". I work part-time at the Ferry Building Book Passage and have been there for two and a half years, it's a great environment and I enjoy working with the public. There a lot of kids who come in on the weekends and I have fun getting to know them and what they like to read. I have been taking care of a year and a half boy for spurts this past year and it's been so much fun. We would go to the Main Library storytime for an outting and it was a real treasure. It is such a pleasure to work with kids, as they are so much in to the moment.
“Thank you so much for your help! Would definitely recommend Lorraine, she was wonderful.”
