Hi there! 👋 I’m Pearl and if you’re looking for someone who genuinely loves being around kids, you’ve found her. I’ve spent over 20 years working with children in nearly every setting imaginable: summer camps, preschools, two years living with a family as an au pair, and ongoing nanny work. What started as a passion became a calling. Every single stage shaped how I show up for the children in my care, present, patient, and genuinely enthusiastic. What families tell me sets me apart: • I come prepared. Whether it’s a rainy afternoon or a meltdown before naptime, I’m calm, creative, and never at a loss. • I use positive discipline, no yelling, no fear, just connection and clear boundaries. • I treat your home like my own and your routines like law. Your rules are my rules, full stop. • Kids tend to open up to me fast. I think it’s because I take them seriously. I’m currently available for occasional bookings, perfect if you need reliable backup coverage, a regular date night sitter, or someone to step in when life gets busy. I’d love to connect and learn more about your family. Send me a message, I always respond quickly! Pearl
“She kept Jack extremely busy with great games and crafts - was great with my crazy dog too!”
Hi — I’m Katriel (Kat), a caregiver based in San Francisco. I hold a BA in Psychology with an emphasis on child development and currently serve as a director at a nonprofit. I am available for regular afternoon, evening, and/or night babysitting and bring over 10 years of experience working with children ages 0–15. My background includes many years as a behavior specialist and family support specialist in the school district, three years of intensive early intervention therapy, and extensive experience supporting children with developmental differences (speech delays, ADD/ADHD, ASD). I am trained in ABA methods, play therapy, ESDM intervention, DIR Floortime, and occupational therapy strategies. I also offer early intervention services and parent coaching for families who feel they would benefit from additional support. In addition to providing consistent, dependable childcare, I take pride in offering individualized care tailored to each family’s unique needs. I am happy to assist with homework support, structured routines, engaging developmental activities, light household tasks, and overall household support. My goal is to create a nurturing, safe, and enriching environment while also helping make daily life easier for families. I am bilingual (English/Spanish), adaptable, versatile, and reliable. I have a reliable car, a California driver’s license, and a clean driving record. I am also a huge animal lover and very comfortable around pets, and I’m happy to help with pet care as needed. Rates reflect the level of care and specialized support provided, and may vary based on each family’s needs. My priority is that you feel confident and at ease when your child is in my care. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to request references—I would love the opportunity to support your family.
“Kat watched my 11 month old son while I took care of my baby girl. She was wonderful! Played turn based games and sang to him. Helped with feeding his lunch and cleaning up. Proactive and easy to work with. Would love to work with her again! ”
Hi! I have always loved working and engaging with children of all ages. I've been babysitting on and off for kids age 6mo - 12 y/o over the years, including my nephew and friends' children when they need extra backup or simply because I love the 1:1 time with them. I've done sleepover sitting and bedtime routines, school drop off/pick ups, homework help, lots of fun field trip adventures with older kids, creative projects or games at home, etc. I'm comfortable and confident with any aged child. In 2021 I took a professional sabbatical during which time I worked as a substitute teacher with Mission Montessori (for the pure enjoyment of it), working with children 6 months - 3 years old. I have also volunteered as a reading and homework tutor of elementary school-aged children in the past. I'm very good with kids - patient, child-centered and love to make them feel seen and supported emotionally while encouraging their creativity and learning. If you have pets: I’m very comfortable and happy with pets in the home and pet care on a sitting job. Im currently an SPCA dog volunteer so get especially excited about dogs :).
Hello My name is Mirella I’m a Regional Program Manager with 5+ years experience working with youth babysitting, nannying and overseeing and managing programs for organizations like boys and girls club and sheriffs activities league. Hello! My name is Erica 👋 I provide reliable in home childcare with the experience and skill of a preschool teacher. I am currently seeking a part-time morning nanny position while in school to become a kindergarten teacher. I have 4 years of experience working for private families, including two long-term nannying arrangements that lasted more than a year. I taught preschool for 2 years as a lead teacher with a class of students aged 18mo- 5 years old. I am available to start on or after August 24th. My childcare philosophy centers around patience, relationship, and silliness. While caring for children, I am constantly singing, dancing, and finding ways to make a mundane task fun. I view challenging behavior as an opportunity to teach emotional regulation and communication. I believe it's our job to teach children boundaries, so I lead with a firm but kind approach, always shame-free. I enjoy engaging children in intentional activities that work to improve developmental skills. My goal is to get the kids I care for out and about at least once a day, so walks and driving to fun activities (I have a car and am happy to use it!) are a must. I love finding out about the local parks, libraries, rec centers, museums, and music and art classes! Early childhood education is my passion and career focus. I’m currently in school at SFSU, finishing my bachelor's degree and teaching credential.
