Hi! My name is Olivia and I am currently a full-time graduate student at California State University, Monterey Bay, studying Speech-Language Pathology with the goal of being a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist for children with special needs. I am CPR-BLS certified and can provide you with my certificate! I have worked with children ranging from infants to teenagers for almost a decade! In the past five years, I have worked as a lead teacher for after-school group care at elementary schools throughout San Luis Obispo, and most recently as an assistant teacher at a special-needs preschool with children ages 2-5. Additionally, I have experience and a deep passion towards caring for children with special needs, including but not limited to the autism spectrum, Down syndrome, and other behavioral needs, as well as familiarity with children using augmentative and alternative communication devices (AAC). I strongly believe that every child deserves nothing less than top notch care and advocacy for their unique needs. I’m also a huge supporter of creativity and the arts! I received my bachelor’s degree in 2024 from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in Studio Arts (painting and drawing), and have taught various art camps and classes for kids ages 3-14 including painting, ceramics, papier-mâché, and more. I’m a pet lover and have two dogs of my own! I’m happy to help with feeding, walking, playing, or just keeping them company. Hello, I’m Avissa. I’m currently a junior at San Jose State University. I’m offering child care services for children 4 years old or older. I love working with children and do currently work at as an extended care associate at a school. I have worked as an extended care associate for two years now and I am CPR and first aid certified.
