Hi! My name is Mandy and I am a junior at UC Davis, studying Human Development. I am offering child care for children of all ages. It has been my dream since I was young to eventually work with children and babysitting might be one of the best jobs I've ever taken on! I've only recently began babysitting professionally about a year ago. So far I've only babysat children from the ages of 2 to 10, but really I've been babysitting since I became an aunt when I was 12! I aspire to become an educator. I've recently worked at a preschool for a year and a half, working with children from 18 months to 5 years of age and children with special needs (Autism, ADHD, developmental disabilities, and deaf/hard of hearing). Outside of my experience with babysitting and teaching at a preschool, I have volunteered at an annual summer with children ranging from kindergarten to the 6th grade since I was 12. Since beginning my volunteering at the summer camp, I've worked my way up from being a TA to becoming a main teacher responsible for teaching children arts and crafts!

I am Elena, an outgoing and friendly undergrad college student currently attending Sac State!🐝 I'm studying to become a mental health clinician at either elementary or middle school, so working with children is something I'm in the long-run for! I'm the eldest to three younger siblings (aged 10 months, 9, and 18) and care for several cats, dogs, and lizards in my home! I have three years of working with children under my belt as an after school program leader to first through sixth graders. I am CPR/AED certified. I used to work as a certified parent educator/Facilitator for about 5 years. I work with Sacramento First Five and I raised 2 kids that speak 3 languages and excel in life. I firmly believed kids are here ro teach us and we must learn from them before we can intent teaching them. Each child is born with unique abilities and characteristics and personality traits that provide us all the information we need to help a child reach their full potential. To guide/coach a child you must know him/her first. I have experience house sitting mid size homes and large estates short and long term. I believe it’s essential for families to have peace of mind that their home will be running fine when they are away. I take care of contacting maintenance personnel if needed, manage house cleaning staff, take care of dry cleaners, make sure pantry and basic items are ready and available when the family returns. I can do airport pick up and drop off. I have work in ranch homes with horses and I make sure that runs properly as well. I love dogs and cats, have a small dog at home and I believe our pets choose us their purpose is to complete us. At 50 years old I have learn a thing or two about life, my approach to everything I do is to come from contrition and connection. I learned not to meek my purpose in life when the purpose is to live a meaningful life and create deep connections a long the journey. I am bilingual English and Spanish, the modern family dynamic nowadays is multicultural families and I can adjust and understand each family has different and specific needs.

I am a a current Medical Assistant in training that had learned all of the basics such as checking vitals, CPR, etc! I’ve grew up taking care of children and proceeded to work in daycare at the age of 16! I have experience with children all ages with all different backgrounds. I’m willing and determined to help people in need with a strong sense of urgency.

I have been babysitting for a decade, and have been working in childcare businesses for 6 years. I have been pet sitting for 5 years. I love working with children, and animals.
