Hello, my name is Lacey and I am a second year in college and CSU Long Beach majoring in Public Health. I have always had a passion for working with kids, which is a big part of why I want to become a pediatric PA in the future. I have two nieces and three nephews of my own from infant to 4 years, and spending time with them and babysitting them has given me a lot of hands on experience caring for children of different ages and personalities. I have also babysat for other families with kids who are older ages and really enjoyed creating a fun, safe, and positive environment for them to be in. I would describe myself as patient, responsible, and energetic. I love being creative, playing games, and being outside to have fun, but also love a movie night once in a while. I can do anything from cooking a meal, maybe not gourmet, but something balanced and sustainable and even helping with homework, especially in math and science. I have previously been CPR certified although it recently expired, but I am working on getting certified again! I am also a big animal lover and have four dogs and a cat of my own, so I am completely comfortable caring for pets too. I also have my own reliable car, so I can provide transportation if needed and am also willing to drive the family car if preferred. Overall, I am a dependable and caring babysitter who love making sure kids (and pets!) feel safe, happy, and are well cared for.
As the oldest sister of eight siblings my story life helped me to develop the skills to care for kids of all ages, evolving into a problem-solving patient caregiver. In my youth, I started volunteering as a babysitter and tutoring in my community. Later, I went to medical school and graduated as an International Medical graduate in Ecuador, I am currently volunteering at Yale School of Medicine conducting remote research on child development while studying to take the exams for the US medical license. While in college, I practiced Andean folkloric ballet as a professional dancer which aided to sharpen my skillset for teamwork and leadership, expanding my creativity which comes in handy in activities for kids. I am fluent in English and a native Spanish speaker, so I could tutor kids teaching Spanish if it’s an interest of their parents for them to become polylingual. I am also an adept pet house sitter and enjoy gardening. I have professional knowledge on nutrition and am passionate about children's well-being and healthy lifestyles. I am a loving aunty of four cuties, and I like to keep up to date with the animated movies to be able to give them my point of view on their topics while reading fantasy books to them as much as I can. I aspire to become a pediatric surgical oncologist, and will be applying for pediatric and surgical residency programs for 2027. I have a very flexible schedule until then. Looking forward to working with you!
“Karina was wonderful--kind, patient, playful and funny, with a calm energy that made my children trust and enjoy her presence. She handled everything beautifully. She is reliable, resourceful, grounded, and composed. We will definitely work with her again! Amazing sitter!”

“Karina took care of my siblings like no one else, as she not only created a safe space for them but also suggested a series of recreational activities that my siblings continue to practice today, such as drawing, painting, and playing soccer. Additionally, she always ensured that my siblings were comfortable, well-fed, and surrounded by lots of love. I highly recommend Karina's caregiving!”
Hi there! My name is Sabrina, and I’m a graphic designer living near Hermosa Beach. Originally from Oahu, I moved to Los Angeles to attend Pepperdine University and graduated in 2019. I have over 15 years of experience working with children in various roles, including as a day camp counselor, tutor, and nanny. I truly miss working with children, which is why I’m excited to rejoin Urbansitter. I’d love to create a positive, nurturing environment for your child. Please feel free to reach out—thank you!
My full birth name is Nia Jade Colbert, but no one calls me Nia—please call me Jade. As an Executive Assistant, it has been a joy and privilege to support, teach, guide, and provide a sense of protection and stability for my executives’ children. Over the years, I’ve managed households, offices, automobiles, travel logistics, and business operations, but nothing has been more fulfilling than being entrusted with helping oversee the well-being of their children and pets. My approach is simple: I see myself as my executives’ children’s Executive Assistant as well. After all, they are the future leaders of our country. I strive to foster creativity, service, support, safety, health, and love while encouraging them to grow into the people they are meant to become. I am a Christian and a Republican, and I respect every person’s God-given free will to seek their own faith and path. I believe in leading by example, treating others with kindness, respect, and integrity. I’m probably transparent to a fault. I live a very structured life, and I find fulfillment in meeting new people, building meaningful connections, and embracing experiences that challenge me to grow. I already have a very reputable top-tier job in finance during the work week and hoping to save money faster to purchase a home to take care of my family. I am also a proud mother of a 22-year-old son with special needs. God bless everyone. 💛🌅🇺🇸
