Hi my name is Debbie Wood, I would be interested in babysitting for you. I am retired and slightly handicapped but I would love to babysit. I worked for Avaya (Lucent, AT&T, Bell Labs and Western Electric) for 38 1/2 years. I am looking for ways to make a little extra money for a cruise I am taking next January. I am a Christian and attend Flatirons Community Church where I volunteer working with youth (12 - 18 years old at Open Door Ministry. Theses children live with their mom in a shelter or on the streets. Two other couples and I prepare a dinner meal and serve them. I'm retired from officiated soccer for 27 years and also was an Assessor and Instructor for United States Soccer Federation 30 years. I have worked with youth a very long time. I mentor a girl at risk with Save Our Youth, in the Denver area. I have been finger printed and had a back ground check to make sure I could be around kids..

Mostly every job I’ve had, has been working with kids!! I’ve been a nanny, a preschool teacher for 8 years, and for the past 2, at a high school. I’m a mother of a 16 year old daughter, and an auntie to 3 that I see all the time. They are ages 3, 6, and 7. I always strive to be patient, kind, and understanding. I always want to be thought of as a safe space. I treat the kids I work with like I would want my own to be treated. I am easy going and laid back, reliable, and trustworthy. Also love pets!!

Hello! As the oldest of seven children and full-time homeschool instructor to the youngest three, I have extensive hands-on childcare experience across various age ranges. I am also a full-time legal assistant for a federal agency and a graduate student in Geographic Information Systems and Criminology. What I bring to any household I work for is maturity, responsible decision-making, and creative problem-solving. My hobbies are watching true crime, NASCAR, the Denver Broncos, and the Colorado Avalanche!
