Hi, I'm Suzana, 31 years old, and Brazilian. I’ve been in the US since 2018. I've been working as a service provider with childcare and home care for about 9+ years. Regarding childcare I have experience taking care of boys and girls, newborns to 14 years old. And since 2020 I’ve been working as a personal assistant/ house manager in parallel. About my personality: I’m kind, communicative, proactive, straightforward, and trustworthy. Household/personal assistance: I’m happy to help with: tidying, organization, laundry, dishes, trash, vacuum, schedule appointments, tasks and appointments reminders, booking trips, deal with contractors, social media manager, email cleaning, chop food, and more. But, I don’t do deep cleaning, I’m not good at it, I rather let the professionals cleaners handle this part. Childcare: 9+ years of experience taking care of boys and girls, newborns to 14 years old. I also have experience with special needs kids: diabetes, AHDH and premature. My disciplinary style: I like to listen to the kids and let them make decisions whenever is possible. I rather be more mindful than authoritarian, but it is important to me the kids know boundaries and I encourage discipline and respect. I also encourage learning, development and socialization. Tasks I’m comfortable doing as a nanny: play, drive, feed with bottle/spoon, give baths, help with homework, cook, bedtime routine, change diapers, make crafts, take to parks/museums, and go on little adventures such as a treasure hunt or a kid friendly hike. Hello! I am currently studying for medical school and am working as a scribe full-time, but am looking for some extra work hours. I recently graduated from USF with a Master’s degree in public health. I have my BS in psychology/pre-med from Northwestern University. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old when I received my safe sitter license. I am certified in CPR as a certified nursing assistant and lifeguard. I have watched children of all ages and abilities, and really value all that I have learned from them. Outside of watching children, I have skills in communication, cooking, tutoring, and cleaning.

I go to college at University of South Florida and I am in school to become an elementary teacher! When I was in middle school up to my sophomore year of high school I would volunteer at my old daycare and was a teacher assistant. I am very passionate about becoming a teacher and working with children is my favorite thing to do. I loved playing with and creating lesson plans for the younger children and it inspired me to become a teacher.
