Hello! I just graduated from Columbia College Chicago! I have been babysitting since I can remember. I’m the oldest child of four. I have been a camp counselor, youth leader, babysitter, nanny - you name it haha! I love kids! I taught improv at ChiArts to high schoolers with a professor from Columbia! I just moved, post graduation, and would love to find some babysitting opportunities around the Logan Square area!
Hi - My name is Gisele and I'm currently a nursing student going for my masters degree while finding my passion and future specialty. I am offering child care, senior care, and household services. I am open to taking care of pets in addition, as long as the animal is trained and low maintenance. As the 4th in a line of 5 siblings I have extensive experience with toddlers and young children. As a caregiver, my grandmother was my 1st client. I begged my mother to pull her out of the nursing home (after seeing how she was treated there) and to allow me to take care of her full time while I finished high school via homeschooling. I received proper training and several certifications from Help at Home, SEIU for HSP, and many other certifications that have contributed to my over all success as a caregiver giver over the cumulative 6 year time span. Additionally, I have experience with dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson’s. My duties as a caregiver have included (but not limited to) escort shifts (doctor’s appts / running errands), medication reminders and management, as well as household management. My specialty with children as well as senior clients are centered around enrichment and mental development. I am CPR certified, have my own vehicle and have a fingerprint record in the IL registry. As previously mentioned I can also function as a household assistant or manager. I ran a department for a South Suburban township for 5 years. This role required me to create and maintain tracking software, track application invoices, scheduling across 4 different calendars, run reports and administer training. On top of conducting intake for my own clients. While my employment history is colorful, I do believe my experience makes me uniquely suited for a multitude of tasks. Needless to say I can handle anything throw at me and am always willing to learn something new. All clients are considered family!! Lets keep building it together!
Hi! My name’s Marinna, I’m a student athlete at the University of Illinois Chicago! I’m a very reliable, on-time, hardworking person. Growing up in an intense sport taught me how to manage stressful situations, as well as staying organized. Working with kids or animas is a way I love spending my free time, and making an earning for myself. I’ve always loved being around kids. My summer jobs always consist of being a nanny, last year I worked with a family of 4 children all summer. I also work with families year round, I’ve had experience with three-year olds and one-year olds. I even was a teacher assistant in a third grade classroom, which taught me so much on managing so many kids at once. All of these experiences helped me understand a lot about how to value consistency, patience, and attentiveness-ensuring children’s safety. Whether I'm assisting with bedtime, planning activities, or simply ensuring that your child feels taken care of, I’d love to help!
“Very professional and responsible!”
Hi! My name is Becca :) I recently graduated with my Master of Social Work and am looking for part-time or short-term babysitting gigs while I search for my full-time job. I have 10 years of paid child-care experience- everything from date-night babysitting to full-time and summer nannying to working as a camp counselor. I also have worked with children and families in a therapeutic capacity as a social work intern. I have the most experience with the 0-5 age range. I love reading books, coloring, doing puzzles, and going for walks! I am CPR/First Aid certified, comfortable with pets, have access to reliable transportation, and am happy to provide references as requested. Excited to hopefully connect!
Hi! My name is Nora, I’m 19 years old, and I have 3–5 years of experience in child care, pet care, and household help. I’ve worked with kids of all ages, including past experience as a nanny for a family with five children and working at Schaumburg Kasper, an after-school program where I helped lead group activities and assist with homework. I also have experience caring for my grandmother, which gave me a strong sense of patience, compassion, and responsibility in senior care. At home, I take care of three dogs and a cat, so I’m very comfortable with animals of all sizes and energy levels. I genuinely enjoy cooking, cleaning, and organizing—I find it rewarding to help families feel supported and stress-free. I’m reliable, caring, and always ready to jump in wherever I’m needed!
