Hi! My name is Julia and I’m a college grad from DePaul. I have my bachelors in psychology with a concentration in human development, and currently work full time as a nanny to a 2 year old girl and two elementary aged boys. I love working with all ages of kids, and am hoping to find parents looking for a regular date night sitter on the weekends when I am not nannying. I have my own car for transportation, and am comfortable working with pets. Aside from my current nannying job, I have been working with children for the last 8 years throughout high school and college. I am CPR certified and feel comfortable caring for children over 6 months of age. I am fully vaccinated (with booster) and have had extensive experience with kids; I worked as a substitute teacher in special education K-8 during college breaks, served as a camp counselor at a summer music camp, have babysat for at least 35 families since I was 15, and tutored chemistry and physics for high school and college students. I LOVE cooking (esp. healthy foods!) and would be happy to help meal prep and perform light household chores (i.e light cleaning, dishwashing, laundry) for you and your family. I would also be happy to help your kids with tutoring if needed and am a huge fan of off-screen time. Regarding travel, I am absolutely open to it and have traveled with families to Tahoe and Northeast Harbor and as a nanny recently!
