Hi - My name is Gisele and I'm currently a nursing student going for my masters degree while finding my passion and future specialty. I am offering child care, senior care, and household services. I am open to taking care of pets in addition, as long as the animal is trained and low maintenance. As the 4th in a line of 5 siblings I have extensive experience with toddlers and young children. As a caregiver, my grandmother was my 1st client. I begged my mother to pull her out of the nursing home (after seeing how she was treated there) and to allow me to take care of her full time while I finished high school via homeschooling. I received proper training and several certifications from Help at Home, SEIU for HSP, and many other certifications that have contributed to my over all success as a caregiver giver over the cumulative 6 year time span. Additionally, I have experience with dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson’s. My duties as a caregiver have included (but not limited to) escort shifts (doctor’s appts / running errands), medication reminders and management, as well as household management. My specialty with children as well as senior clients are centered around enrichment and mental development. I am CPR certified, have my own vehicle and have a fingerprint record in the IL registry. As previously mentioned I can also function as a household assistant or manager. I ran a department for a South Suburban township for 5 years. This role required me to create and maintain tracking software, track application invoices, scheduling across 4 different calendars, run reports and administer training. On top of conducting intake for my own clients. While my employment history is colorful, I do believe my experience makes me uniquely suited for a multitude of tasks. Needless to say I can handle anything throw at me and am always willing to learn something new. All clients are considered family!! Lets keep building it together!
Hello! I just graduated from Columbia College Chicago! I have been babysitting since I can remember. I’m the oldest child of four. I have been a camp counselor, youth leader, babysitter, nanny - you name it haha! I love kids! I taught improv at ChiArts to high schoolers with a professor from Columbia! I just moved, post graduation, and would love to find some babysitting opportunities around the Logan Square area!
Hello! My name is Gilary (pronounced Hilary). I have been taking care of children for as long as I can remember! Whether it’s been for family, friends, or as a paid caretaker. Babysitting/nannying was how I put myself through college, caring for children from infancy to preteens. In 2[removed], I worked as a 4th and 5th grade teacher assistant at a small elementary school. I myself have 6 nephews and nieces, all of whom I have cared for since they were babies. They’re all a bit older now, so I definitely miss having littles in my life! I work as a freelance grant writer, and I am also an actor in Chicago’s vibrant storefront theater scene. This makes me quite flexible and available for daytime care. I also do a bit of dogwalking on the side, so I’m more than happy to care for your pups and pets as well. All in all, I am comfortable with all ages ranging from infancy to teens. I have a car and an Illinois driver's license. I can cook kid-friendly meals, and for school-aged children, am happy to help with homework. I love to do arts and crafts, like knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking, baking, and singing. For any other inquiries, don't hesitate to reach out!
“Gilary is an engaging, kind, detail-oriented caregiver. She was always reliable and responsible when taking care of my toddler. She’s friendly, fun, and easy to communicate with. We loved having her be our regular and occasional sitter, and anyone would be lucky to have her with their kids!”
Hi there! My name’s Mikyhia, and I recently graduated from DePaul University with a degree in African and Black Diaspora Studies and a minor in Political Science. I’ve always loved working with kids— I’ve spent years, before and during my time at university– mentoring, teaching, and caring for children and teens, from little ones in my community to older students in classroom and program settings. I’m passionate about helping children learn through creativity, whether that means storytelling, art projects, or imaginative play. My background as a creative professional and instructor has taught me how to engage kids in ways that spark curiosity and confidence. I love designing fun, educational activities that combine play with learning — like mini art lessons, building projects, or creative writing games. Throughout my professional journey, I’ve worked in roles that required patience, leadership, and organization — from developing educational programs at DePaul to mentoring teens at the Best Buy Teen Tech Center. These experiences strengthened my belief that every child learns differently, and that creativity is one of the most powerful tools for growth and connection. I’m excited to bring that same energy, care, and imagination into your home — helping your little ones explore, create, and feel supported every step of the way. And a little fun fact about me to break the ice: I played the cello professionally for almost 10 years and would like to pick it up again someday (for now its a fun hobby of mine)
“Mikyhia's professionalism and reliability gave us complete peace of mind, and her courteous approach made the entire experience stress-free. She didn’t just clean—she transformed a very cluttered dusty space into a fresh, organized, and inviting environment. Mikyhia shared practical tips to keep the room clutter-free and even taught us how to optimize our washer for better efficiency. She went above and beyond by washing beddings and pillows and thoroughly sterilizing and sanitizing and moving out furniture. What truly sets her apart is her ability to tackle even the toughest situations—she’s "a tough cookie" who can help hoarders let go of items that aren’t needed or don’t hold sentimental value, encouraging donations to organizations that help those who are in need or less fortunate. Mikyhia is the one you can trust to deliver exceptional results and add real value,”
Hi there! My name is Lila and I’m looking to do some babysitting while I’m home for college! I’ve lived in Bucktown my whole life but reside in Pittsburgh for part of the year as I’m a sophmore at the University of Pittsburgh. I love crafts, cooking, and overall being super silly and fun with kids! With four years of experience as a camp counselor at an overnight camp, I have plenty of energy when hanging out with younger kids. I’m more experienced with kids seven and older, but I’ve also babysat for kids under that. I have two dogs of my own, so no pets will be a hassle. Thank you!
