I have over 15 years of childcare experience. Starting from babysitting to being a live in nanny. I have worked for daycares, youth organizations, and schools. I am a mentor, tutor, teacher and art therapist. I have been a program director and youth program specialist. I have experience being a caregiver as well. I am a loving mother of 4 teens, 19, 15.15 and 14. I work as a Buyer for a Federal Contractor and as a Hairstylist part time. I have a genuine love for children and have helped raise my 7 nieces and nephews. I have plenty of children around me between family and friends that range from infants to school age that I sit from time to time. I also have 2 children ages 5 and 2, that spend a great deal of time at my home. They were God children of my deceased nephew that we grew to love as family. I am very caring, patient, fun and understanding. Most children attach to me easily. I am very experienced and patient with infants.

I was a bilingual / ESL teacher for 10 years and have plenty of experience working with children from ages 5 and older. I love the spontaneity and unpredictability of working with kids. I have a dog of my own and plenty of experience with animals, as I also have been a volunteer at PAWS no kill animal shelter.

Growing up my grandma owned a daycare and I would help her take care of kids and plan arts and crafts time for them. I also have recent experience over the past 2 summers of working at a stay away camp looking over multiple different age groups of kids over the age of 6 full time. After my first summer I was promoted to leader of my cabin group and have learned to keep things together, better my communication, and still keep kids happy! Pets wise, I have 3 cats and a dog so I know how to manage!
