Hi my name is Samantha. I am a full time medical assistant who is cpr certified. I’ve worked in the medical field for more than 15yrs from newborn to working in obstetrical care. I have extensive experience both as a parent and a babysitter. Being a parent has given me firsthand knowledge of caring for children of all ages, from meeting their basic needs to supporting their growth and development. In addition, I’ve spent many years babysitting for other families, which has taught me how to adapt to different routines, personalities, and parenting styles. I’m confident in my ability to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for kids.

I was a bilingual / ESL teacher for 10 years and have plenty of experience working with children from ages 5 and older. I love the spontaneity and unpredictability of working with kids. I have a dog of my own and plenty of experience with animals, as I also have been a volunteer at PAWS no kill animal shelter.

Growing up my grandma owned a daycare and I would help her take care of kids and plan arts and crafts time for them. I also have recent experience over the past 2 summers of working at a stay away camp looking over multiple different age groups of kids over the age of 6 full time. After my first summer I was promoted to leader of my cabin group and have learned to keep things together, better my communication, and still keep kids happy! Pets wise, I have 3 cats and a dog so I know how to manage!
