I've always loved babysitting and have been watching infants, toddlers, and kids since I was fourteen (I have a really big family with lots of younger cousins who I've helped out with all my life), as well as worked at a daycare where I took care of children ages infant to five years old. Due to my theatre background I regularly include make believe play in my interactions with children, using different voices and mannerisms while asking the children questions and helping to build their imaginative skills. On top of that I've also been certified by the Red Cross in infant and regular CPR. I can also work as a household assistant and can clean and run errands. As I have my own cat I am more than comfortable with cat sitting and have done so for multiple family friends.

Greetings! I am First Aid and CPR Certified, and 37 years old. I have raised and trained two dogs, cared for seniors experiencing dementia and have 20 years experience caring for children of all ages. My strategy with kids (and seniors) is to slow down, answer all questions and give them options. As big sister to three boys, my entire childhood and young adulthood involved caring for kids. Once I left home, I became a certified post-partum doula, then went on to nanny full time. I became more curious about teaching kids, so became a theater teacher for kids ages 3-11 for 6 years.
