Amanda 1 review
$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Manhattan, IL

Hi! My name is Amanda and I am looking for fun, sweet, loving families to babysit on the weekends! I am currently a full time nanny but looking to pick up extra hours on the weekend :) I have my degree in early childhood education as well as many years providing care for children ages 2 months to 12 years! My passion is and will always be caring for children and I cannot wait to have my own children to love on some day! I can’t wait to connect and to tell you more about me as well as learn about you and your family!!

Amanda did an amazing job. She was in charge of our little one at our wedding. She made sure our daughter was fed, clean and having a great time. Our daughter was able to keep her routine on this day all because of Amanda. Our daughter had an instant connection with her and it really showed. I could not have booked a better nanny for our special day. All night everyone kept coming up to me letting me know how great Amanda was. We cannot thank her enough for her patience and professionalism.

Ingrid $20 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Ingrid and I'm currently offering child care , as needed/available. I am 24 years old. I work as a paramedic for a fire department. I am someone who enjoys being busy and finding new hobbies/activities to do. In my free time, I go to the gym, cook, do puzzles, and watch movies. I grew up in a big family so I am used to being around many kids of all ages! I have experience with mainly caring for ages newborns-toddlers but am willing to work with all ages. I love working and being around kids, and doing tasks to stay busy with them. My communication with kids is strong and do my best to have a good eye to eye understanding with them. I do have my own car and am willing to drive to you, take the kids places , and run errands if need be. If you have pets it is not a problem and can assist with that as well; I am familiar in caring for dogs. I am CPR certified in all ages, and can assist with use of medications. If you have any questions about anything or would like to get to know me more , please feel free to reach out! Hope you can allow me to assist your family!

LaDawn $20 per hour for 1 child

As a proud mother of two grown, independent adult children, my nest may be empty, but my heart is still completely full of love for little ones. Having successfully navigated the beautiful, chaotic journey of raising my own kids into adulthood, I find myself deeply missing the pure joy, curiosity, and laughter that only children bring. I am eager to channel that enduring warmth, patience, and experience into providing a safe, fun, and loving environment for your children.

Paul 1 review
$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Manhattan, IL

I was a bilingual / ESL teacher for 10 years and have plenty of experience working with children from ages 5 and older. I love the spontaneity and unpredictability of working with kids. I have a dog of my own and plenty of experience with animals, as I also have been a volunteer at PAWS no kill animal shelter.

Paul noted that he recently joined Urbansitter and our booking was his first sitting job via Urbansitter. He showed up on time, was friendly and jumped right into playing/watching our son Miles who really enjoyed spending the time with Paul. Paul is attentive, punctual, fun, flexible and friendly, definitely would hire again!! :)

$22 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Manhattan, IL

Hello, I have about 25 years of experience taking care of children from birth to 18 years old. Some of the following experiences include, diaper changing, feeding children, sleep routine, food preparation, laundry, car pool, doctor visits, homework/ project assistance, dishes, mopping, sweeping and vacuuming. I also have experience in helping the elderly, feeding, dressing, bathing, medication reminders and assist around with wheelchair/walker. I have more than 15 years of experience with dogs, feeding and cleaning. I received my high school diploma at Richard Daley College in Chicago. My family and I own three dogs, which I successfully potty trained myself! A fun fact, I managed to write and illustrate my own children’s (“Goldfish”) book. Yes, I do have a family of my own, but it has given me so much experience (and still does) that if its ok with you, I would be happy to help in any way that I can.
