Hello! My name is Cecelia! I am 22 years old and am in my Senior Year of Nursing school at Aurora University. I am looking for part time jobs mostly on weekends and absolutely love kids I would be so grateful for the opportunity to help families out! I would also love to offer tutoring services for elementary education in reading, writing, math, science and social studies! I have 4 + years of medical experience through Nursing school and prior work experience. I also have my BLS and CPR certification.
“Very professional and very helpful!”
I am from Geneva, and I am passionate about working with children and helping them learn and grow. My friends and family would describe me as caring, patient, responsible, and hardworking. I enjoy creating positive and supportive environments where children feel safe, encouraged, and included. I am currently attending Bradley University, where I am studying Elementary Education with endorsements in Special Education and ESL (English as a Second Language). Through both my education and hands-on experience, I have developed strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, along with a passion for supporting children of all abilities and backgrounds. I have over 5 years of experience babysitting children from kindergarten through 6th grade, providing a safe, caring, and engaging environment while supporting daily routines, homework help, meals, and recreational activities. I also worked for 2 years at a summer camp with 1st–3rd grade students, where I supervised group activities, encouraged teamwork, and helped create a fun and positive experience for campers. In addition, I completed 1 year of an elementary teaching internship as a teacher assistant in a local 3rd grade classroom. In this role, I supported the classroom teacher, assisted students with assignments and learning activities, helped manage classroom routines, and gained hands-on experience working in an educational setting. I also have 2 years of volunteer experience with children with special needs through the Fox Valley Special Recreation Association, assisting with softball, pickleball, bowling, and game nights for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Additionally, I have 1 year of experience babysitting a 2nd grade child with special needs, where I provided individualized care, patience, support, and assistance with daily activities. These experiences have strengthened my communication, leadership, adaptability, and caregiving skills while allowing me to build meaningful relationships with children and families.
Hi, I’m Haley! Growing up as the oldest of 5 children, my experience with child care started at a young age. I had the privilege of learning babysitting basics right at home, which made me ready to babysit neighbors and cousins throughout middle school and high school, college, and even post grad. Whether it be a date night here and there, all day nannying, or overnight care, caring for children has always been something I enjoy and excel at. I do believe my education and work experience allowed me to become an even better provider. At Loras College, I double majored in Public Relations and Spanish, studied abroad in Spain where I taught ESL, was part of the campus Peace & Justice Club, and worked as a Solid Waste Education intern. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching students about the importance of taking care of our earth. My experience in college very much shaped me into someone who wanted to use talents to do something moral and ethical with my time. This passion opened the door to what would become my career for the last 8 years: Parks and Recreation. I can’t put into words how much I loved being the Superintendent of Marketing at the Oak Brook Park District. The work, the people, serving the community, and being part of providing special memories to people aged 0-100 filled my cup with pure joy. I didn’t think anything could make me walk away from this career, until, I had my precious daughter in May of 2024. Life is full of surprises! As of September 2025, I am now a stay at home mom, who enjoys every second of the day with my child. Motherhood has reminded me how much I enjoy being with children, teaching them new things, going on adventures, and helping them grow. I am seeking a part time nanny position that would allow me bring my daughter with me. We promise to be the best care giver (and little friend) to your family! We also know how to prepare meals, clean up, and take care of cats and dogs. Please feel free to reach out to me at any time if you have questions or would like to speak to my references.
Hi families! I’m Jada! I’m currently a nanny in Plainfield and looking to connect with families who need occasional babysitting, date-night care, or just some extra help here and there! (Not seeking recurring jobs.) I have 8 years of professional childcare experience working with children from newborns through school age, including several years as a lead teacher. I also have my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Studies and am CPR/First Aid certified. I’d describe myself as bubbly, patient, dependable, and very hands on. I love getting the kids out of the house, going on walks, reading, doing crafts, playing outside, and finding fun things to do based on their age and interests. I’m definitely more of a play based caregiver and prefer keeping kids engaged rather than relying on screens. Yes I dress up in costumes and play the board games with every kid I care for! About me: I enjoy reading, getting coffee, doing crafts, and spending time outdoors. I’d love to connect with some local families who are looking for a reliable sitter they can reach out to whenever they need an extra set of hands!
