Hi all! My name is America (named after a Mexican soccer team haha) and I am excited to provide child care, pet care, and household services. I currently work as a nanny Mon-Fri. I have been with this family for the last three years. I also work as a host at a restaurant on the weekends. I need to be busy! I love to work. I have been babysitting my entire life. I am the eldest daughter and eldest cousin in my family. Due to that luxury, I've taken care of newborns, infants, and toddlers for most of my life. Professionally, I have worked at a daycare as an assistant teacher. I occassionally spent time in the littles classrooms (1-3), though most of my time was spent with the Preschools kids (4+). Currently, I work with a family whose children are older (10+). I am very flexible working with many different ages due to my experience. I've worked with a range of kids with different personalities. I am flexible. I adapt to the child's needs as well as the parents. I am here to work with you and for you. I graduated with a BA in Psychology from NPU. A lot of my course-load was in personality, lifespan development, and behavior. I feel these classes have helped me become a better caregiver. I really love dogs and cats! My roommates and I have a dog and three cats. So much time is spent at home cuddling. I can also provide household services. I worked at a gym for some time and learned how to clean every nook and cranny. I can also run errands, those are typically my favorite because I love marking off lists. Happy to answer any questions you have for me. I am typically available Mon-Fri after my nanny shift (ends at/arouns 6). I am willing to work late into the night and can negotiate hourly fee/overnight fee if needed.
