Hi, I'm Rachel! I’m a warm, caring, and dependable person who genuinely loves taking care of people and animals and finds being of service deeply rewarding. Over the years, I’ve babysat for friends, family, and neighbors as needed, primarily caring for children ages 1–13. I also have two nephews who I’ve helped care for since they were born, including living with my sister and her family for months at a time to help with childcare and supporting them during extended visits. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and creating an environment where they feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves. As an artist and writer, I love encouraging creativity and imagination, whether we’re making something, playing games, telling stories, singing, dancing, getting outside, or finding other ways to be active and have fun. I prefer being actively engaged with the kids I’m caring for rather than relying on screens to keep them occupied, while also taking my cues from each child’s personality, interests, and energy. I also helped care for my grandmother for several years after she developed dementia. I assisted with meals, cleaning, personal hygiene, and everyday needs, but just as importantly, I spent time with her, kept her company, and helped her feel safe and comfortable. That experience taught me a great deal about patience, compassion, and preserving someone’s dignity while supporting them through a vulnerable stage of life. In recent years, I’ve also gained extensive experience caring for pets—particularly dogs—through pet sitting while traveling. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and maintaining their normal routines while their people are away. My personality is naturally warm, loving, optimistic, and encouraging. Emotional regulation is important to me, and I bring a calm, grounded presence to the people and animals in my care. I’m attentive to individual needs, respectful of healthy boundaries, and understand how important it is for families to have a caregiver they can trust to respect their routines, communicate openly, and care for their family with the same thoughtfulness they would want to provide themselves. I’m also happy to jump in wherever I’m needed, whether that means cooking, running errands, cleaning, laundry, organizing, or helping keep the household running smoothly. I love being someone others can depend on—someone who notices what needs doing, pitches in, and makes life a little easier!
Hi! I’m Allison, a junior at Simmons University studying sociology, public health, and communications. I am looking for a number of caregiving roles in childcare, pet care, and household care. I have experience in a number of care giving settings including as a summer camp counselor to kids (ages 4-9), babysitting for family friends (ages 5-12), cat/dog sitting for family and friends, as well as house sitting and cleaning for family and friends. I am a very organized, detail oriented, and dependable person in my work, school, and personal life. In my experience as a summer camp counselor I helped to manage and engage groups of up to 50 children in crowded public places such as amusement parks, ensured children’s safety while having fun in a variety of environments including swimming holes, and adapted activities to help suit children with different individual needs.
Good Day Families! I am Sakile (Sah-Key-Lay), and I’m passionate about nurturing children’s growth and development. With over 15 years of experience in early childhood education, I’ve had the joy of supporting children and families across the globe. Whether you need help with routines, tutoring for early elementary learners, or light household support like cooking and cleaning, I bring patience, creativity, and care to every part of the day. I’m also a certified yoga teacher and love introducing children to movement and mindfulness through fun, age-appropriate yoga practices. Music, dance, ready, and crafts are a big part of how I connect with little ones, helping them learn and express themselves in joyful, meaningful ways. I’d love to be a trusted part of your child’s journey and your family’s support system!
Hi there! My name is Abbie , and I’m a college student living in Boston, Massachusetts, in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. I’m currently a junior at Suffolk University, studying Criminal Justice and Law. One of my lifelong passions has always been helping others and caring for the people around me. I’m originally from Portland, Maine, where I spent years babysitting for several families all throughout school. I absolutely love spending time with kids; playing, learning, and helping them grow. Most of my experience is with children ages 0–4, but I’m comfortable and happy to work with kids of any age. I typically babysit 2–3 children at a time, mostly in the afternoons and evenings. I’d describe myself as kind, lighthearted, responsible, and a little silly. I love bringing fun and laughter into any situation! My babysitting experience has taught me how to stay calm and confident when handling meltdowns or stressful moments, and I truly see caring for children as a privilege. In addition to childcare, I also have experience dog- and cat-sitting, both during the day and overnight. I’m looking forward to connecting with families who could use an extra helping hand.
“Our 4 year old son keeps requesting Abbie. She's been absolutely wonderful with him and we're having her take care of him multiple times per week. Highly recommend!”
Hey there! I’m Jaice, a student-athlete at Northeastern University, majoring in psychology and criminology. Originally from the heart of New York City, I’ve always been surrounded by community, which is a big part of who I am! When it comes to working with kids, I’ve got plenty of experience! I’ve spent years working with children, including leading summer camps and teaching health in schools. I’m great at connecting with kids and adjusting to their unique personalities, making sure they feel comfortable and have a blast. Additionally, I’ve worked with the NYC Department of Health and Hygiene, so I really understand how important mental and physical well-being are in providing great care. I’m super upbeat, love doing crafts, cooking, baking, and learning new things! I’m certified in Mental Health First Aid and a Mandated Reporter, so you can trust that I’m always prepared for anything. I can’t wait to meet you and your little ones—I’m ready for some fun, learning, and plenty of smiles! 😊
