Hi! My name is Katie, I’m a 32-year-old professional nanny with over 10 years of experience caring for newborns, infants, toddlers, and school-age kids. I’m skilled in managing multiples, nanny shares, and children with behavioral, emotional regulation, or executive functioning challenges. My approach emphasizes connection, autonomy, and play-based learning, and I love tailoring activities to each child’s interests, whether that’s singing, dancing, crafting clay figurines, or exploring fun activities around Boston, Cambridge, and the North Shore. I have done many different kinds of jobs including: long-term (3+ years) short-term, overnight, vacations, and date nights! I hold a Child & Youth Advocacy certificate and Associates in Liberal Arts Psychology from NSCC. I am also currently pursuing my Social Work degree at Salem State University. In addition, I volunteer with the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless and CASA, bringing a strong commitment to supporting children and families both professionally and in the community. Some of my specific strengths include: • Redirection and emotional coaching • Supporting intuitive eating • Managing ADHD and sensory needs • Creating practical systems that support families long-term Thanks Katie
“Katie is our current nanny to our 2.5-year-old twin girls, and she has been a wonderful addition to our family. One of the things we appreciate most about Katie is her knowledge of child development. She is always coming up with fun, age-appropriate activities that help our girls learn and grow while keeping them engaged and excited. She is also incredibly in tune with children's emotions and does a great job helping our daughters work through big feelings with patience, empathy, and understanding. Katie is dependable, caring, and genuinely invested in our girls' well-being and development. We feel very lucky to have found her and would highly recommend her to any family.”
Hi- my name is Raianna I’m currently working in a daycare in Marblehead , working with toodlers at the moment. I have experienced taking care of infants toodlers and preschoolers. I really love and enjoy being a babysitter outside of my work hours, I enjoy being with the kiddos, spend time with them, show them new things, and most importantly making them feel safe. Im fluent both in English and Spanish and I’m currently taking Italian lessons. I’m originally from Dominican Republic but I moved to the states at a young age so I would be delighted to teach your kiddos Spanish! I love and also am comfortable with Dogs and Cats. :)
“Raianna was great! She was communicative and prompt and was great with our two toddlers. She gracefully handled dinner and bedtime routines for two kids who were not experienced with babysitters. We would recommend her!”
Hello, my name is Deborah and I am a recent graduate of the University of Michigan, where I obtained my degree in Biomedical Engineering. I currently work as a Biotech Engineer, and will begin my Master's degree in Fall 2026. I have received my Basic First Aid Training and completed the Red Cross CPR certification course. I love showing my love to others through cooking meals and love to read in my free time. In caring for your child, I love to engage them through reading, educational games, puzzles and a lot of time outside. In past roles I've been responsible for meal prep, light housekeeping, school pickup/drop off and overnight care.
I’ve worked as a pre-k teacher for the past 4 1/2 years, frequently babysit and used to have 2 nannying jobs. I’m pretty decent with special needs kids and have worked with them before. I have been CORI checked, have no criminal background and am CPR, First aid and teacher certified. I’m playful and creative with children and encourage learning, boundaries, playing pretend, creativeness, and just fun all around! I am experienced, ambitious, organized, a good listener, / great rule/boundary follower, and kind, respectful, accommodating, outgoing and energetic. I’ve mainly only watched children but have also watched pets before. I have no experience watching seniors but am willing to learn and do it. I’ve also never house-sat but am again, willing to and am very responsible and great at cleaning and taking care of things and keeping it in check. I have a background with psychology and social work from college so I’m very good at reading children’s heads and understanding their personalities. I am also very protective of them because of my schooling in social work so I know how to watch and take care of them. I am currently going to college for nursing and am doing multiple interviews for more teaching positions at other schools because I recently got laid off because there was too many staff members.

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
