Hi caregivers! My name is Dylan, and I’m currently looking for one-time jobs since I’m currently in graduate school! I am currently pursuing my Masters in Speech Language Pathology at Emerson College. I previously attended the University of Connecticut where I studied Communication Sciences and American Sign Language. My experience working with children started in 2022. In the summer of 2022, my first job was at a summer camp for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children. It was an overnight camp where I also taught archery. Following that experience, I decided to pursue more experiences in childcare and was hired at an early care and education center that I worked at part time while at UConn. During winter and summer breaks I often babysat and dogsat for many families. I also have experience working at a children’s fitness club within the gym I used to go to in my hometown. My most recent experiences have been working with children 3-17 years old as a Teacher of the Deaf during the 2[removed] school year. So far, as a graduate student clinician I’ve worked with infants, toddlers and school-age children. I do not have much experience with seniors, however, my first job was working as a waiter at a retirement home!

Hi! I’m Funmbi 😊 I’m a graduate student at Boston University School of Medicine, and I’ve always naturally been someone who takes care of others. I’m the oldest of five siblings, so a lot of my experience started at home-helping out, staying organized, and being someone my siblings could rely on. I’ve also worked with kids of all ages through my church’s children’s and youth ministry, so I’m comfortable stepping in whether it’s playtime, helping with homework, or keeping a routine going. I also volunteer in my community and plan to attend medical school, so being dependable and attentive really matters to me. I’d describe myself as calm, patient, and easy to be around. I try to meet kids where they are, whether they’re energetic, shy, or just need someone to listen. I also worked as a Patient Care Assistant, which helped me become even more attentive, responsible, and aware when it comes to safety and making sure people feel comfortable and supported. I also love animals (especially dogs) so I’m more than happy to be around pets too. I’m happy to help with homework, meals, bedtime routines, or just keeping kids engaged with fun activities (and yes, I’m definitely the type to build forts or play games with them 😊). Overall, I just aim to create a space where kids feel comfortable and cared for, and where parents feel at ease knowing everything is in good hands.

I love kids and animals- am an RN and only work 3 days a week - would love to use some of my free time helping others. I love doing arts and crafts, playing games, and chatting. I have experience caring for all ages. I have a special fondness for grumpy old men!

As an older sibling of three, I have been taking care of little ones since I can remember. I babysat neighbors and family friends since I was 14, and have worked with children of all ages in school-based settings throughout high school and college. I grew up with dogs and cats and am familiar and comfortable taking care of furry friends as well. Currently, I am a Master's of Social Work student at Simmons University and work at a group home with teenagers. I am very comfortable around kids of all ages and can be kind, playful, and compassionate while reinforcing expectations. I have experience working with youth with complicated mental health diagnoses and complex needs, as well as neurodivergent kiddos. I am also extremely clean, able to take care of house plants, and love to cook! In my free time, I enjoy knitting, crocheting, and crafting, and I enjoy being creative with the little ones I watch. I also love being outside and active! :)

Hi! My name is Paola and I’m a recent Master’s graduate beginning my career as a pediatric psychotherapist while working toward independent licensure. I have a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine. I have over 5 years of experience working with children of all ages. I’ve been babysitting since I was a teenager, worked as a preschool teacher during summers in undergrad, and currently work as a pediatric psychotherapist with kids ages 2-18. I especially love working with younger children and have a strong interest in early childhood development. I’m originally from Puerto Rico and am bilingual in English and Spanish. I enjoy engaging kids through play, crafts, reading, and other creative activities, and I strive to create a warm and supportive environment.
