Hi! I’m Funmbi 😊 I’m a graduate student at Boston University School of Medicine, and I’ve always naturally been someone who takes care of others. I’m the oldest of five siblings, so a lot of my experience started at home-helping out, staying organized, and being someone my siblings could rely on. I’ve also worked with kids of all ages through my church’s children’s and youth ministry, so I’m comfortable stepping in whether it’s playtime, helping with homework, or keeping a routine going. I also volunteer in my community and plan to attend medical school, so being dependable and attentive really matters to me. I’d describe myself as calm, patient, and easy to be around. I try to meet kids where they are, whether they’re energetic, shy, or just need someone to listen. I also worked as a Patient Care Assistant, which helped me become even more attentive, responsible, and aware when it comes to safety and making sure people feel comfortable and supported. I also love animals (especially dogs) so I’m more than happy to be around pets too. I’m happy to help with homework, meals, bedtime routines, or just keeping kids engaged with fun activities (and yes, I’m definitely the type to build forts or play games with them 😊). Overall, I just aim to create a space where kids feel comfortable and cared for, and where parents feel at ease knowing everything is in good hands.
Hi there! My name is Jonny and I am an undergraduate student at Boston University studying psychology with interests in mental health research and child psychology. I live on campus in a beautiful brownstone apartment and I spend most of my time studying or with friends. I am offering child, senior, pet, and house care services. I have experience working with inner-city Boston kids (ages 8-12) at the Hale Outdoor Learning Adventures camp, where I learned how to connect with kids with all different kinds of temperaments and personalities. My responsibilities there ranged from helping kids with arts and crafts to conflict resolution when kids were having tough days with one another. I enjoy doing any activities that seem to best engage the kids, whether it be playing games, reading with them, or singing along to songs. I have also been a peer tutor at the high school and university levels, with competency across maths, sciences, english, and social sciences, with some basic french and spanish language skills. I have cooking and cleaning skills and spent time taking care of my grandparents in England. I come from a cat family, but I love all animals and pets!
As an older sibling of three, I have been taking care of little ones since I can remember. I babysat neighbors and family friends since I was 14, and have worked with children of all ages in school-based settings throughout high school and college. I grew up with dogs and cats and am familiar and comfortable taking care of furry friends as well. Currently, I am a Master's of Social Work student at Simmons University and work at a group home with teenagers. I am very comfortable around kids of all ages and can be kind, playful, and compassionate while reinforcing expectations. I have experience working with youth with complicated mental health diagnoses and complex needs, as well as neurodivergent kiddos. I am also extremely clean, able to take care of house plants, and love to cook! In my free time, I enjoy knitting, crocheting, and crafting, and I enjoy being creative with the little ones I watch. I also love being outside and active! :)
Hi!! I’m Emma, and I am a graduate pharmacy student with a B.S. in Biology and have around 3-4 years of hands-on experience caring for children! I’ve worked as a summer camp counselor for two summers(4-6 year olds), babysitter (children under the age of 10), and surgical dental assistant, so I’m calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and genuinely love helping others. As a former resident assistant in a university dorm, I’ve managed emergencies, created community events, and supported students emotionally and academically. I also hold CPR certification, a pharmacy intern license, and have experience in household support—whether it’s helping with homework, doing laundry, or maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Sure! Here’s a warm and professional welcome introduction for families considering you for babysitting, incorporating your experience and personality: --- **Welcome!** Hi families! My name is Taylah, and I’m so excited to offer trusted babysitting services in your area. With years of experience working with children from 2017 to 2021 as a nanny, and as an assistant teacher in Brookline where I had the pleasure of floating between classrooms of all ages, I bring both heart and hands-on expertise to child care. I currently work with the middle school and high school range because I love working with children and believe with the right village they can accomplish anything. I have a deep love for supporting children’s growth and creativity. Whether we’re painting, building LEGOs, or diving into imaginative play, I aim to create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for every child. I’m a naturally sweet and patient person who values cleanliness and organization, which helps children feel comfortable and supported in their space. I’m confident caring for children of all ages and needs, and I’m happy to adapt to your family’s routine and values. Looking forward to meeting you and your little ones! Warmly, Taylah
