Hi! I’m a college student on summer break with over 3 years of childcare/infant work experience. I’m responsible, caring, and dependable, and I enjoy creating a safe and fun environment for kids. Whether you need help for a date night, occasional childcare, or an extra set of hands, I’d love to help support your family!
Hi! My name is Hilary, and I’m a nursing student at Simmons University. I’m genuinely passionate about well-being, caregiving, and helping families feel supported. I’m also interested in pediatrics long-term, so working with kids is something I take seriously and truly enjoy. I have been a care taker for more than 5 years. I’m offering care for children ages 2–10 and also senior care, companionship. I have experience working in assisted living, so I’m comfortable supporting older adults with patience, respect, and attention to safety. I can help with babysitting and age-appropriate play/activities (2–10), meal prep / light cooking, light cleaning and tidying up, run errands and helpful tasks around the house. I’m reliable, calm, patient, and caring. I pay attention to details, I communicate clearly, and I take safety seriously. I’m the type of person who shows up on time, follows instructions, and treats your home and your loved ones with respect. If you’re looking for someone dependable and warm to support your child or an older family member, feel free to message me
Hi, I'm Rachel! I’m a warm, caring, and dependable person who genuinely loves taking care of people and animals and finds being of service deeply rewarding. Over the years, I’ve babysat for friends, family, and neighbors as needed, primarily caring for children ages 1–13. I also have two nephews who I’ve helped care for since they were born, including living with my sister and her family for months at a time to help with childcare and supporting them during extended visits. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and creating an environment where they feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves. As an artist and writer, I love encouraging creativity and imagination, whether we’re making something, playing games, telling stories, singing, dancing, getting outside, or finding other ways to be active and have fun. I prefer being actively engaged with the kids I’m caring for rather than relying on screens to keep them occupied, while also taking my cues from each child’s personality, interests, and energy. I also helped care for my grandmother for several years after she developed dementia. I assisted with meals, cleaning, personal hygiene, and everyday needs, but just as importantly, I spent time with her, kept her company, and helped her feel safe and comfortable. That experience taught me a great deal about patience, compassion, and preserving someone’s dignity while supporting them through a vulnerable stage of life. In recent years, I’ve also gained extensive experience caring for pets—particularly dogs—through pet sitting while traveling. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and maintaining their normal routines while their people are away. My personality is naturally warm, loving, optimistic, and encouraging. Emotional regulation is important to me, and I bring a calm, grounded presence to the people and animals in my care. I’m attentive to individual needs, respectful of healthy boundaries, and understand how important it is for families to have a caregiver they can trust to respect their routines, communicate openly, and care for their family with the same thoughtfulness they would want to provide themselves. I’m also happy to jump in wherever I’m needed, whether that means cooking, running errands, cleaning, laundry, organizing, or helping keep the household running smoothly. I love being someone others can depend on—someone who notices what needs doing, pitches in, and makes life a little easier!
I am in New York City for the summer in the middle of my MSW program at Simmons University. I have extensive experience working with children in a variety of capacities (school counselor, teacher assistant, afterschool assistant, ABA assistant therapist, school social work intern, babysitter) I am a somewhat recent graduate from Boston College with an Applied Psychology and Human Development B.A. I am currently pursuing my MSW at Simmons University and am looking to help families with occasional or part-time babysitting, pet sitting, or other services. If you would like to discuss more, I can forward my resume and/or references. I would love to hear from you :)
My name is Alyssa, I have had the pleasure of working with children for over a decade now, since 2010. In my professional journey, I have served as an assistant director and currently hold the position of a lead teacher in a PreK classroom. I take pride in my qualifications, as I am Director certified, CPR/First Aid certified, and have a strong background in Reggio Curriculum. I have had the opportunity to work closely with numerous families, including one that I have been with for the past 10 years, initially meeting through care. com. I am seeking an afterschool babysitting position where I can continue to engage with children outside of the traditional classroom setting. Im interested in taking children to and from afterschool activities, planning exciting outdoor adventures, and providing homework assistance and support with any other afterschool tasks. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you would like more info or if you are interested in discussing potential opportunities.
