I also have two nephews who I’ve helped care for since they were born, including living with my sister and her family for months at a time to help with childcare and supporting them during extended visits. That experience taught me a great deal about patience, compassion, and preserving someone’s dignity while supporting them through a vulnerable stage of life. In recent years, I’ve also gained extensive experience caring for pets—particularly dogs—through pet sitting while traveling. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and maintaining their normal routines while their people are away. My personality is naturally warm, loving, optimistic, and encouraging. Emotional regulation is important to me, and I bring a calm, grounded presence to the people and animals in my care. Hi caregivers! My name is Dylan, and I’m currently looking for one-time jobs since I’m currently in graduate school! I am currently pursuing my Masters in Speech Language Pathology at Emerson College. I previously attended the University of Connecticut where I studied Communication Sciences and American Sign Language. My experience working with children started in 2022. In the summer of 2022, my first job was at a summer camp for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children. It was an overnight camp where I also taught archery. Following that experience, I decided to pursue more experiences in childcare and was hired at an early care and education center that I worked at part time while at UConn.
