Hi =) My name is Keaisha or as many of the children/families I’ve cared for call me Kia =) I'm a former certified primary toddler/preschool teacher at Bright Horizons at Biogen. I am currently a Special Education English Paraprofessional at Excel High teaching grades 9, 11, and 12 in the Special Education department. I am also a college graduate from UMass Boston with a bachelors in psychology. graduated previously from Bunker Hill Community College with 2 degrees; one is a certificate in Early Childhood Development/Education and the other is an Associate in Liberal Arts. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am also EEC Certified to teach infant, toddler and Preschool students as well as have 2 years experience teaching K-Prep (previously known as Pre-K) students. I started teaching in 2009 when I was still in high school teaching Pre-K kids so i have plenty of experience around that age group. I also have experience with preemies, have the knowledge and experience implementing Infant/toddler/preschool curriculum that support the child’s cognitive, social/emotional, language, fine and gross motor skill development. I have 2 dogs and a cat so I love animals! Proud fur mama! I have plenty of recommendation letters from other parents and families that I have helped raise from 8 week old infants to preschool and have taught their children available upon request. I love caregiving because I love helping and providing mommies and daddies with a sense of relief while also helping them engage and advance their children’s development while they grow.
Hi! My name is Rachel (Ray) and I am 21 years old. I go to Northeastern as a Psych/Human Services student. I have worked at Perkins School for the Blind in special education as a teacher’s assistant for a little over a year with teenagers and young adults. I also have been a volunteer tutor with elementary aged kids for a little over two years. I love art and music (I have a guitar I love to bring), sensory, getting energy out and being silly.
Hi! My name is Olivia and I'm currently a graduate student at Simmons University. I am offering child care and household services. I've worked as a teaching assistant in several elementary schools and have worked specifically with children with special needs. I worked as an assistant teacher in Howell NJ with children preschool-kindergarten and 1st-2nd grade for three summers. I also worked most recently as a teacher's assistant in Easton PA for 2nd grade students, tutoring in reading and math. I worked as a teacher in my local church's Sunday school for four years, working with kids between 3rd-5th grade. I love working with kids of all ages and engaging with them in whatever their interests may be! I can offer tutoring in math, history, reading/writing, art lessons, as well as beginner lessons in Latin and Russian. I love arts and crafts, playing sports (especially tennis and dance), and reading. I'm available for household services such as cleaning, running errands, and laundry.
I am college student here at Fisher College looking to help out on my free time. I was a preschool teacher for 1-3 year olds during the summer and I loved working and teaching them. I also have a passion for animals and my whole life I have lived and grown up with dogs and cats. I have a dog named Maia and a cat named Beatrice so any help needed with pets are my expertise. I am very passionate about what I do and want to always provide the best support and help for any client or parents (pet parents too!).
Hi! My name is Grace, and I’m a first-year student-athlete at Simmons University. I offer child care, household help, and pet care. I’ve been babysitting since high school and have experience with infants, toddlers, and school-aged kids. I also have a background working with children with special needs, including kids on the autism spectrum. I’m patient, calm, and always focused on communication and safety. I am lifeguard-certified and trained in CPR and First Aid, so families can feel confident that their children are in safe hands. I love creating a positive and active environment—whether that means helping with homework, doing crafts, reading, imaginary play, or getting kids outside to burn off energy. Even without car access, I’m great at planning fun activities and keeping kids engaged. As a college volleyball player, I bring strong energy, organization, and reliability to everything I do. Parents can count on me to show up on time, stay engaged, and keep routines running smoothly. I’m also happy to help with meal prep, light cleaning, organizing, and bedtime or morning routines. I’m comfortable with dogs and most pets, and I’m very organized, so helping out around the house or keeping things tidy is no problem. I’d love to get to know your family and help make your weekly routine easier and more enjoyable!

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
