I have experience working with inner-city Boston kids (ages 8-12) at the Hale Outdoor Learning Adventures camp, where I learned how to connect with kids with all different kinds of temperaments and personalities. My responsibilities there ranged from helping kids with arts and crafts to conflict resolution when kids were having tough days with one another. I enjoy doing any activities that seem to best engage the kids, whether it be playing games, reading with them, or singing along to songs. I have also been a peer tutor at the high school and university levels, with competency across maths, sciences, english, and social sciences, with some basic french and spanish language skills.
