I have a masters degree in Childhood Education and have worked as a Substitute Teacher for more than 8 years, in three different states (NYC, WA, MD). I have another masters degree in Recreation Education & Therapy and have worked in therapeutic and commercial recreation for many years, including at summer camps and even for Disney Cruise Line. I like to keep a home tidy, and I enjoy doing errands, shopping for groceries, and cooking Italian food (especially pizza). I am also interested in providing companion care with seniors, as I love hearing elders’ stories and wisdom, and providing them with good company. I used to host recreational programs with seniors at assisted living centers, including improv comedy, creative writing and discussion groups. Overall, I love serving families directly, whether it be with their pets, children or seniors, and the home itself. I’m kind of like a substitute family member for hire!

Hello everyone! My name is Jennifer and I currently live in Vienna. I currently work full-time, but I love babysitting on the side! I have the option to work remotely from home so I am available to take babysitting jobs right after work and on weekends! I absolutely LOVE kids and I have a lot of experience babysitting kids of ALL ages (1-10). For reference, I used to babysit for a family with 3 kids (ages 1, 4, 6). I babysat them every week for 6 months. I would also watch their dog while I was there. I would cook for them, play with them, read to them, and go though their bedtime routine. We would also do fun stuff like have read books, sing songs, draw pictures, and play games! I also used to babysit a 8 month old boy every Monday, Wednesday, Friday every week for a year. I would be with him 8 hours a day. I would take him on stroller walks, change his diapers, put him to bed for naps, cook/feed him, etc. I would also watch and take care of their puppy on the job. Now that I have a full time job, I still love babysitting when I can! I am also very good with dogs and animals!
