Hi! I’m Sophie. I am originally from Utah but moved here about 3 months ago. I graduated from BYU in Sociology with a minor in Family Studies and I am working on a Master’s Degree in school counseling. I am looking for occasional babysitting jobs to make a little extra money for school. I have done Stop The Bleed and CPR training within about the last year and I nannied 3 children under 7 for a summer 3 days a week. I also teach a class of about six 7-8 year olds once a week at church and have nieces and nephews I babysit occasionally. I have a flexible schedule in the hours outside of my normal job (a 9-5 sometimes 6) and I am happy to help with whatever including cleaning, cooking, laundry, prepping lunches, etc. I love doing fun activities like crafts, baking, or being outside. I grew up playing tennis and softball but am enjoying playing pickleball and doing yoga these days.

Hello families! My name is Claire Guthrie. I am currently living in Idaho, but will be moving to D.C. in June for school. I am going to school for early childhood development, I will be doing classes online and will be attending part time. I am looking for an amazing family to work for as a nanny. I have about 1 1/2 years of experience at a daycare. I worked mostly with toddlers and infants but got a ton of experience with school age children as well. I currently work as a nanny for 18 month old twin boys. I’ve been working with them for 14 months, and enjoyed every moment of it. It breaks my heart to leave, but I need to further my career and get an education. I need to work full time to keep up with living expenses and ask for at least $25 an hour considering I am living by myself, and going to school as well.
