Hello!! I retired early after 38 years of teaching. I received Elementary Education as well special education degrees from Luther College in Decorah, IA. I later received my Early Child Special Education degree from Mankato State University and my Graduate Degree from St Mary's University. I am presently driving two hours to care for my 2 year old granddaughter in Hopkins, Mn. I typically watch her two weeks each month, and rotate with a couple others. My schedule varies. I typically do not watch her on Tuesdays or weekends. She truly has been a blessing in our lives. Hi - My name is Alex and I'm currently working part-time at Living Christ Early Learning Center. I am offering occasional childcare and cat care. I love taking care of kids and have taken care of newborns, infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school agers on a regular basis since I started as a childcare volunteer in 2017. I can do it all with any child, from feeding, changing, and getting a baby to sleep to driving school aged children to and from extra curricular activities. I really love to drive all over as well. I can help around the house with mild cleaning, cooking, and cat care as well (I grew up with cats). While I have very little experience with dogs and haven't officially offered any kind of dog care, I am open for discussion on the matter if you are to ask. The most important thing to know about me is that I'm a devout follower of the Lord Jesus Christ! God has truly gifted me when it comes to children! Hi! My name is Shawnshay, and I’m excited to introduce myself! I am a mother of two—a 5- year-old and an 11-month-old—so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your children. I currently work as a special education assistant in the Minneapolis school district and have been in this role for the past five years. I have experience working with children on the autism spectrum, as well as those with emotional and behavioral needs, from kindergarten through 6th grade. Before this, I worked as a teacher’s assistant in a daycare setting for over four years, caring for children from infants to school age.
