In addition to this, I have also cared for my own grandparents in times of need and my father when he was fighting cancer. I grew up on a hobby farm which fostered a huge love of animals in me. I've been working with children for the last fifteen years! I started at Kumon Math and Reading before becoming a nanny for two families in Minnesota. I love the outdoors and often spend my free time hiking or gardening. I also enjoy intellectual and creative pursuits, including playing the violin and guitar, singing, dancing, reading, sewing, crocheting, and much more. I encourage curiosity and play while maintaining a safe environment, which I believe is vital for a caregiver. I have experience watching infants during church services and spent several years working with toddlers creating and teaching world religion classes. I also regularly care for school aged kids of friends and family. Senior care is also in my purview as I cared for my mother during her time in hospice.
