Hello my name is Erica. I work part time at preschool and I’m also a graduate student in an early childhood education program. I strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and develop. I am looking for extra baby sitting opportunities on weeknights and weekends. I love being able to motivate and teach children. Some of my favorite activities to do with them are reading, building, drawing sensory play, singing and dancing.

I studied biology in undergrad at Western Michigan University and decided to walk the untraditional path of pursuing my creative ideas as they come through. I love working with children as a way to relive the best experiences of my childhood. I come from a large family with many nieces and nephews and love to stay active indoors and out. I love to share the fun facts I’ve retained over the years and consider myself a fairy, finding the beauty in every day things but mostly nature. I am CPR certified and have been a babysitter and caregiver to families in New York, Michigan and Ohio throughout high school and college. I enjoy being around all animals and especially cats and dogs. I’ve worked with children, toddlers, and teenagers ages infant-14 but have more experience with infants- 3yo. Hi everyone! My name is Maren, I am a recent graduate from the Rhode Island School of Design where I received my MFA in illustration. Now I’ve relocated to Brooklyn with my fiance, and am starting a new chapter of life! I love kids, I taught dance to 15 elementary students for four years in high school, have two rambunctious cousins (7,11) at home who I take care of when I see them and grew up sitting from the age of 12. I love to bring activities, play, and just hear the crazy things kids say. I am a fantastic cook and quite the voice actor when it comes to picture books. Can’t wait to meet you!
