Hi- My name is Olu, and i’m currently a freshman in college and work as an assistant teacher at a daycare in Madison, where I’ve been for about a year. In my role, I supervise playtime, lead simple learning activities, help with meals and naps, and make sure the children are in a safe, supportive environment throughout the day. I’ve been working with kids since I was about 13 and have experience with children of different ages, though I have the most experience with kids between the ages of 1 and 6. Working with younger children has helped me develop a lot of patience and attentiveness, and I’m very comfortable helping manage routines while still making sure kids are having fun. I’m CPR certified and always prioritize safety and communication with families. I enjoy doing different activities with kids such as reading, crafts, games, and outdoor play, and I usually adapt to what the children are interested in so they feel comfortable and engaged. In addition to supervising and playing with the kids, I’m also happy to help with basic caregiving tasks like preparing simple meals and helping with bath time when needed. Families often describe me as dependable, calm, and easy to communicate with, and I look forward to the opportunity to support your family and provide a safe, fun environment for your children.

I am a substitute teacher with 20-year experience, working with children, ages ranging from infant to high school. I enjoy arts and crafts, and cooking.

Elementary school music teacher based out of Union County, NJ with experience preschool to sixth grade. I also offer private voice lessons to students 9 years and older.

I have tons of experience working with children, especially those in the five and under range. I have previously worked as a camp counselor for preschool aged children, in which I was the lead counselor responsible for fifteen four year old children. I also used to be a swim coach, teaching assistant, and still babysit and teach swim lessons today. All of these jobs have given me a multitude of different experiences with kids and have taught me how to best work with them depending on the situation.

I truly enjoy connecting with families and caring for their children. I find it so rewarding to support them as they grow into their little personalities. I have hands on experience working in a pediatricians office as well as on a Mother baby unit at Overlook Hospital where I support moms with their newborns during their postpartum stay. I am BLS certified and can bring a calm, attentive, safety-focused approach to childcare.
