Hello, My name is Vanessa, and I am a high school teacher. I taught language arts for 20 years and am currently in the discipline department at a high school. I have experience with children and pets, and I speak fluent Spanish and English. I have helped take care of my grandmother, so I can assist in taking care of an elderly person. I am organized, disciplined, and caring. I also have two dogs and a bird, so I am experienced in caring for animals.

I am a part-time college student at the University of Maryland in College Park. I have years of experience working with children as well as engaging with them outside of a professional setting. I have 2 young nieces (10 and 8) whom I often babysit, drive to and from activities, and keep busy at home while my brother is working.
