Hello! My name is Mica! I LOVE working with kids and families. I have a TON of experience and consider myself a natural caretaker with a very loving, engaged and nurturing approach. In my over 20 years of experience working as a childcare provider, I have worked for over 60 families and watched literally hundreds of children. I've worked with some families for over 10 years, watching as their family grew from one 2 year old to having four kids! From newborn to middle school, but with the majority of my experience being with newborns and infants to young elementary. My mother was a nursery school teacher and my siblings and I worked summers at their nursery school camp program, which is where I had a lot of parents asking me to babysit from there. I worked occasionally as a substitute assistant teacher at that same nursery school as well. I have a B.A. in Psychology and took classes on developmental psychology, studying attachment theory and so on. A little more about my background: I am the oldest child in my family and even amongst extended family and family friends children, so since I was a child myself I've been put in charge of watching the younger kids! But I started babysitting officially at 14. I also have young nieces and nephew who I've watched extensively as well :) I am half Japanese and grew up living in Japan at least every other summer. I speak a little Japanese and know a little Spanish as well and consider myself very culturally sensitive. I've also taken cross-cultural psychology and just have a real love of other cultures, I've worked for multiple families with immigrant parents and bilingual children :) Some personal interests are health and wellness/fitness/dance, healthy plant based cooking, volunteering, music! I sing and play a little guitar and love when the kids get excited about that as well! I drive and have my own car, I've taken children to and from every activity including doctors appointments. I've done overnights, full weekends and have traveled internationally with families. I can cook/prepare meals, help with homework where needed and do some light housekeeping as well if desired. I have experience with elderly relatives in the home with dementia, etc, and experience with pet and plant sitting. I am open and flexible! :) Feel free to ask me about anything else I may have missed! Love working with and helping families and look forward to working with yours! :) Be well and looking forward to chatting! :) -Mica
“Mica is the ultimate baby whisperer. She worked for us when my daughter was a newborn, helping us as first time parents immensely. Mica helped with diaper changes, feeding (which was an exceptional challenge for us in the early days), and sleep (which was another big challenge!). We continue to use Mica for occasional babysitting for the last 2.5 years and recommend her to other families in our neighborhood. My daughter does not take to new people easily but instantly fell in love with Mica and goes to her with ease when I need to step out. Mica is the best!”

Hello there ! My name is Rocio and I thank you so much for your time. I really appreciate you possibly allowing me into your home and lives. A little background about me, I have a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Early Childhood Education and worked for the Department of Education as a paraprofessional and substitute teacher for 10+ years. I am currently a full time student, studying Radiologic Technology, which reflects my passion for helping others. I have gained experience working with children and families of diverse age groups such as newborns, infants, toddlers and teens in different settings. Their needs are completely different as well allowing me to be flexible with all age groups and their individualities. I also have personal experience in caring for children as I have 3 siblings myself. Growing up caring for my siblings was a daily routine that I honestly grew to love and enjoy. I am naturally drawn to and am comfortable with children for I am open to listening to what they have in mind and making those things come to life, if possible. I am very interactive and hands on; I enjoy playing games such as board games or having dance parties, reading and acting things out and hide and seek, etc. I also like to explore children's creative side with face painting and arts & crafts which I find children love and enjoy. Whatever honestly makes them happy and keeps them safe. I’m bilingual in both English and Spanish, which helps me connect with diverse families. I also have my own pet, so I’m very comfortable with animals and happy to help with any pet care. Whether it’s playtime, homework help, or keeping routines on track, I’m here to make your life easier and give you peace of mind. I would appreciate the opportunity to get to know you and your family. If you have any questions please reach out to me through a quick message as I answer fairly as quickly as I can. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
Hi! My name is Jack. I moved to NYC about 7 years from Columbus, Ohio to major in Musical Theatre at Marymount Manhattan on the Upper East Side. I've been taking care and teaching kids since I was in high school. My friends and family would describe me as super positive, patience and great at problem solving. I've taught dance and soccer to all age ranges of kids in Ohio and NYC. I create a warm and supportive environment for all children that I interact with throughout my various jobs. "Jack - our coach, is a patient angel. Give that man a BIG raise! The way he handles the 5-8 year old crew (full of boys!) is a testament to how much he loves the sport. We appreciate Jack's efforts and style and hope he continues to inspire the kids in our community" This is a review from February 2026 at my soccer job with Soccershots NYC. I hope to inspire more kids in the community all around NYC. Hope to chat soon! Thank you
