Hello! I am a loving, playful, creative professional Ballerina, Early Childhood Educator, and Nanny. I have been a regular part time nanny for multiple families in NYC for the past 10 years. (I am actually still with a family that I met when I first joined Urbansitter- through the birth of their second child and a move!) I strive to provide a loving, peaceful environment, and to nurture all areas of development for these wonderful little humans. In addition to more than a decade of hands on experience, I have been trained in childhood development through movement with Dionne Kamara, and through sensory play with Jennie Monness at Union Square Play. I have since joined the staff there as a Lead Educator and a Co-Creator of the ‘Dance! Play! Ballet!’ curriculum. I have tutored kids from first to seventh grade, been a preschool assistant teacher and babysat for many families over the years. When not doing so, I support kiddos and their families. I am a licensed driver but am also happy to walk anywhere or use a subway. I’m CPR & first aid certified. I’m a recent Yale graduate with a masters degree in stage management. After working in a preschool during the pandemic, I worked in a Chicago area preschool classroom for almost two years in both the 2-12 month and 4 & 5 year old classrooms. In the spring of 2020; I graduated with a BA in early childhood, elementary education, and theatre.
