Hello families! I am a third grade teacher living in Brooklyn. I have been a full time teacher for ten years and have over fifteen years of experience working with elementary and middle school age children in classroom and home settings. I began working with children when I started babysitting my toddler twin cousins, and have worked in education and childcare for over ten years. I currently teach fourth grade in Brooklyn. I’ve previously taught first grade, third grade, and K-12 art therapy. I am excited to work with all ages of children, and love to engage in their favorite activities with them. Hi- My name is Leslie and I’m currently a part time childcare provider and student at Hunter College. I have been caring for children since I was 12 years old and absolutely love it, I am easy going and energetic. Those early interactions with kids is what led me to my career path of studying Early Childhood Education and becoming a teacher. In past and present years my responsibilities have been everything from playing with kids, making meals/snacks, diaper changing, taking to various activities, reading to them, helping with homework, light tidying up, school pick ups and a host of other duties. I have worked with all ages ranging from newborns to pre teens and can also offer numerous references on site if that is something that would make any family feel more at ease. My experience with the elderly/seniors is associated with the care of both my grandparents. I have assisted with giving medications, helping in daily hygiene care, cleaning and making beds, cooking/food prep, taking to appointments and just generally being a friendly ear and companion to help brave the long hours in the day. Hi. My name is Lathisha and I'm from Brooklyn, New York. I have worked with kids since I was 16 and have since worked as an after school teacher, teachers assistant as well as a head teacher. I’ve idone baby sitting as well. In June of 2025 i obtained my associate degree in Early childhood education. I love working with kids because of how rewarding it is- they teach me as much as I teach them! I also a mother to two beautiful baby girls and I understand how exciting it is to watch children learn and grow from both the parent and sitter perspectives! For any reason a booking gets cancelled or you come home early I still charge for the entire time. I also require cab fare back home once a booking ends after 11:00pm.

Hi! My name is Autumn and I am a Philadelphia native. I moved to New York about 4 years ago and am working full time at an education tech company. Prior to this, I was a first grade teacher in Baltimore for two years. I am passionate about connecting with the youngest learners, love to do crafts, play games, spend time exercising and reading! In addition to caring for children, I am also comfortable doing light house work/cleaning, cooking, and caring for pets.

I started working as a mother's helper at the age of 10, and have been babysitting ever since! In high school I worked as a nanny 20 hours a week for a wonderful family with two infants, and also volunteered at Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital to ensure children separated from their parents for long periods of time were receiving the critical attention needed to develop their gross and fine motor skills. During college I worked as an occasional sitter for many different families in the D.C. area. I have been living in New York for about 5 years now and work full-time as a Copywriter at a creative agency, so I just take a few babysitting jobs each month on nights and weekend :) For five summers when I was 18-23, I worked as a counselor at Camp Onaway, a sleep-away camp for girls ages 8-15 in New Hampshire. After graduating from the University of Maryland in December 2016, I worked at a Swiss boarding school as a dorm counselor, Spanish Instructor, and as a ski instructor. In short, I LOVE hanging out with kids both younger and older! I have ample experience with newborns, infants, and toddlers, and I love kids of all ages and needs. I have babysat for children with special needs and behavioral differences, and I am always happy to accommodate any communication/behavioral/educational methods that your family prefers (though I do not have any specific certifications or training for different needs). I speak Russian and Spanish and I am happy to help children learning either language by simply speaking to them or working on certain vocabulary.
