I majored in Early Childhood Education and Child Development and became a Certified Newborn Care Specialist, Postpartum Doula, Peer Breastfeeding Support Counselor and a Professionally Certified Parenting Coach. Working with children has always been close to my heart. Through years of experience in nonprofit programs and children’s ministry at my local church, I’ve learned how meaningful it is to create a space where children feel safe, included, and cared for. As a head camp counselor, I had the chance to create a fun, enriching experiences for the children in my care. My studies in child advocacy and policy have also deepened my understanding of children’s needs and well-being. I’m a 20 year old college student looking mainly for weekend work/ part time to help pay for school. I don’t have much paid experience but I have lots of personal experience. When I was younger my mom was a nanny and I was always her little assistant helping out with the kids she looked after ranging from ages 1-8. I also have a niece that I look after every now and then who just turned 4. Lastly throughout the week I work as a pediatric dental assistant so caring for kids comes naturally!
