Hi! My name is Ellie and I am a senior at Fordham University majoring in psychology and English. I have been babysitting since I was 15 and would love to take care of your kids :)) In the past, I've made simple meals for kids, picked them up from school, walked them to parks, playdates, and restaurants, and have spent all day hanging out with them! I'm also happy to help organize your home or run errands. I (sadly) have no pets at school, but I have a dog at home and LOVE cats, so I'd be more than happy to meet and care for your pets too!
Hi, my name is Kimberly. I’ve been babysitting for a while now I started off babysitting my nephew when I was young. I loved it so much I started looking into more babysitting jobs and I now have more than 2 years of experience. I also love doing other chores such as laundry and mild cleaning. I love cooking especially some shrimp alfredo pasta yumm! I love making snacks for the kids and creating fun activities for them. Especially art activities and baking with them! I have experience walking dogs as well. I love pets a lot and look forward to seeing families with their fur babies :)
Hi! I’m D’ana 😊 I’m a college student finishing my junior year and currently work as a teacher’s assistant in a Pre-K classroom with the NYC Department of Education. I have 2+ years of babysitting experience with children from 8 months to 8 years old, including caring for multiple kids at once. Working in both home and classroom settings has helped me build a strong balance of being fun, patient, and structured. I love keeping kids engaged through creative activities like arts & crafts, games, and hands-on learning. I also help with homework especially reading and writing and always try to make learning feel fun and encouraging. I’m looking for part-time babysitting where I can build meaningful connections with families while providing safe, reliable, and attentive care. A little about me: I have a dog named Cleo 🐶 and I’m currently challenging myself to read 100 books this year (I’m already at 15!).
I am a loving and responsible mom of two — I have an 11-year-old son and a 22-year-old daughter. Over the years, I’ve cared for several children on weekends, and I truly enjoy spending time with kids. Families often tell me that even the most energetic or difficult children feel calm and comfortable with me. I love creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment, whether it’s helping with homework, preparing light meals, or keeping children engaged in positive activities. Caring for kids is something that comes naturally to me, and I treat every child with the same love and patience as I do my own.
Hello! I’m Isabella and I am new to the city! I was born and raised in Venice Beach, CA. I moved to New York to be closer to my family who lives on the east coast and to have a new experience while I am in the early stages of my career! I studied Psychology at UC Santa Cruz where I focused on childhood and adolescent development. Throughout college I was a nanny and worked af a local preschool where I was able to conduct my senior research project on emotional regulation in I nannied throughout college and formed strong and lasting relationships with the families I worked with. Many families I worked with prioritized Montessori schooling methods, so I am familiar with that style of learning. My first year out of college, I worked as a Teacher’s Aide at a school for special needs children. I worked with children ages 7-14 who had varying IEP’s for things like autism, dyslexia, and ADHD, among others. I was trained in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) methods to de-escalate high-stress situations. I am a highly patient, playful, and responsible person, and I take pride in working with families and children. In the next couple of years, I would like to go back to school for a Master's in Marriage & Family Therapy, as I am interested in relationship dynamics and communication strategies. In my free time, I love to be active and outside! I’ve played volleyball my whole life, so I am eager to find a rec league in the city so I can play. I also love to travel and am lucky that my family prioritized this growing up, so I’ve been lucky to travel with them! My experience as a nanny has varied depending on each family’s needs, but I am familiar with school pickup/drop-off, snack and meal planning, homework help, bed/bath time, and planning daily activities. I have experience and am comfortable with overnights after getting to know the family and their children, as well as traveling as needed. I look forward to connecting and seeing if we would be a good fit:)

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
