Hi! I’m Melissa, a 27 year old longtime babysitter, newly back in the U.S. after three years in London. I’ve been babysitting for over 10 years, with experience ranging from toddlers to early teens. I first became the go-to sitter in my neighborhood growing up in Philadelphia, and word quickly spread - my parents’ coworkers started calling on me too! Over the years, I’ve also taken on pet-sitting duties for both dogs and cats, sometimes for a few days and other times for several weeks at a time. Hello! My name is Maggie, and I am a new resident of NYC, moving from DC! I am a professional dancer, arts administrator, and teaching artist who is passionate about using dance and movement to heal, empower, and connect individuals & communities. I have been working with children of all ages & abilities in an educational capacity for almost 10 years now, mainly through dance education, after school programs, and academic enrichment. I have been teaching dance to children in various spaces and capacities (dance studio, community centers, elementary and middle schools, theaters, etc.) since I was 16 years old. In DC, I worked as an Aftercare Lead Artist, creating and facilitating academic and arts enrichment curriculum for children K-3.
