Hi- My name is Leslie and I’m currently a part time childcare provider and student at Hunter College. I have been caring for children since I was 12 years old and absolutely love it, I am easy going and energetic. Those early interactions with kids is what led me to my career path of studying Early Childhood Education and becoming a teacher. In past and present years my responsibilities have been everything from playing with kids, making meals/snacks, diaper changing, taking to various activities, reading to them, helping with homework, light tidying up, school pick ups and a host of other duties. If you'd like to book me for less, that is fine as long as I am still being paid for the full 4 hours. --------- I require full payment for the time I am booked regardless of when the parents come home. **Cancellation: If you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled start time, I expect 50% of payment agreed upon. If you cancel within 24 hours, I expect to receive 100% of the payment. **Emergencies: I am CPR & first aid certified. In the case of an emergency that I feel I am not equipped to handle (ex: severe allergic reaction, fire, medical emergency, etc..) I follow the following plan: 1. Do what I can to ensure child(rens) safety. 2. Call 911. 3. Call Parents. **Interviews: Initially I prefer phone interviews. If it is a working interview, I charge at my minimum rate of per child.
