Hello! My name is Viktoria, and I am a graduate student in Clinical Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University. I have over 5 years of experience caring for children and supporting their development, and I’m passionate about combining creativity, movement, and learning in fun, age-appropriate ways. I have worked with children of all ages, from infants to elementary schoolers. My experience includes babysitting for families and caring for my nieces, serving as a dance assistant for ballet (2[removed]), and currently working as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at Hollingworth Preschool with children ages 3–5. I love engaging kids through movement, dance, reading, outdoor play, and creative arts. I can also support with homework, basic tutoring, and light meal prep. In my family, we’ve cared for 6 dogs and 3 cats, so I’m very comfortable with animals of all personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I have been professionally babysitting for ten years, but as the second oldest of six children, I have been caring for kids my entire life. My experience ranges from picking up children from school, supervising outdoor activities and outings, preparing meals, putting to bed, and occasionally overnight stays (the longest being one week). I also have many years of experience as a summer camp counselor and a children’s surf camp head counselor. Im comfortable taking care of kids of any age, however I have the most experience from ages 2 and up. I’m patient, energetic, and love keeping kids active and engaged, while also being comfortable setting clear boundaries and expectations when needed. I love any and all animals (except spiders) and would be more than willing to work with families with pets.
