In my role, I supervise playtime, lead simple learning activities, help with meals and naps, and make sure the children are in a safe, supportive environment throughout the day. I’ve been working with kids since I was about 13 and have experience with children of different ages, though I have the most experience with kids between the ages of 1 and 6. And spending time with children reminds me the importance of that. I've been working with kids for over ten years and as the oldest of five, caring for children and being attentive to their needs is first nature to me.
