Hi! I am 21 years old and attend Oberlin College in Ohio where I'm studying psychology. I grew up in Brooklyn Heights and have lived here my whole life, so I am comfortable with public transportation, going to park, and other fun attractions for kids.When home on breaks, I live with my two parents, older brother, younger sister and dog. I have experience sitting for kids ages 1-9; this includes playing with them and getting them dinner together, bathing them and putting them in pjs, and reading books to put them to sleep. Sometimes I would bring my dog because one girl loved to play with him. I am allergic to dogs and cats, but I am able to work with families who have dogs that do not shed. In my free time I love to bake, paint, sew, play frisbee, and take my dog to the park. While my certification has lapsed, I have taken courses in CPR and first aid.

Hi there! I’m Madeleine, and I’m attending NYU at the moment. I am a Psychology major, and find working with kids fascinating as you can really see skills and proficiencies develop. I have worked as a babysitter for children from 5-12, and as a summer camp counselor for children from 4-13. I have also worked in temporary childcare for children from 6 months to 12 years.
