Hi, I’m Sabrina — I’m 25, based in Springfield, and have over 8 years of experience as a nanny, along with 4 years as a house manager. I’ve had the privilege of working with wonderful families and am currently looking for a long-term position starting this fall. I’m available from 6 AM to 7 PM and open to either a traditional 9–5 schedule (minimum 40 hours )or splitting my time between two families — one in the mornings and another in the afternoons (minimum 25 hours). I’m CPR and First Aid certified, fully vaccinated, a non-smoker, and comfortable with pets. I also have a reliable vehicle and a clean driving record. I’m confident caring for up to three children at a time and have experience with all age groups, from infants to school-aged kids. If you think I could be a good fit for your family, I’d love to connect!
Hello! My name is Chioma, and I am a New Jersey native and college student. While in school, I acquired hands-on experience babysitting and providing childcare. I have been with UrbanSitter for three years and have cared for children ranging in age from 3 months to 14 years. In my free time, I enjoy reading, volunteering, and hiking. My main availability is Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I look forward to connecting!
I am a pre-med biology graduate from Morgan State University and a certified medical assistant. These studies have strengthened my understanding of health and safety, which is crucial to being a competent caregiver. As I continue my path of education, I hope to become a pediatrician who expresses my genuine compassion for caring for kids, not just physically but emotionally as well. As one of the oldest kids in my family, I have been accustomed to babysitting for quite some time. From babysitting my newborn nieces and nephews overnight to watching my cousins for almost a week. I also have experience in animal sitting for 2 years, whether that be dogs, cats, and even hamsters. Caregiving has been a pivotal part of my life since I was younger, growing up in my household. Having to assist my younger brother and sister with homework, cooking them dinner, and being a beacon of knowledge, care, and love for them. I love caregiving because I enjoy being a dependable person that people can count on. It gives me a sense of purpose because I know that I am playing an essential role in their life. Constantly showing up and being present, supporting their development, reminds me that even little, everyday actions such as these are the ones that make a difference and create a village for kids to be nurtured and grow healthily.
“On time, kids were very comfortable and had fun while my husband and I went to the movies! ”
Hello there! I hold an MA in Counseling Psychology and a BA in Elementary Education & Theatre Arts. As a previous educator and childcare provider, I have served children in various settings (i.e. full-time nanny, teacher, and camp counselor) for over 15 years. I am available to do light housework (tidying, organizing), meal prep, and homework help as needed. When I am not working I can be found in nature, dancing, writing & reading, or enjoying the arts!
Former 2 year Aupair here :) I took care of a one year old and 4 year old at the same time. Tasks were: Morning routine, Make breakfast & lunch, driving to school, nap time, homework and playing. Also took care of 3 kids at the same time: (6,8,11 years old). Tasks were mainly driving and homework. Also taking care of 2 dogs (feeding, walking, playing). 2 baby boys ( year 1&2) Morning and Night Routine, driving, preparing food, often watched the baby’s over night. I love every age group can’t decide which one was the best. I grew up in a big family with 3 younger and one older sibling, so I’m used to taking care of more than just one kid. I also love animals and am happy to take care of them too
“I’d like to share my experience with Ogechi, who worked with our family as an au pair. Ogechi was a reliable and caring presence in our home, looking after our two toddlers. She was adept at balancing the various aspects of her role, from childcare to helping out with meals. Ogechi had a calm and positive approach to her work, which was particularly appreciated. She was good with our children, engaging them in activities and ensuring they had a structured day. Her ability to adapt to our family’s needs and schedule without much fuss made things smoother for us. One of the things we loved most about having Ogechi with us was her ability to just ‘get’ our family. She was incredibly adaptable, whether it was dealing with last-minute schedule changes or coming up with creative solutions whenever the kids threw us curveballs. Her positive attitude and calm presence were contagious, making our home a happier place. Ogechi became more than just an au pair; she was part of our family. Any family would be lucky to have Ogechi join them. She’s truly one of a kind, and we miss her dearly.”

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
