I am a pre-med biology graduate from Morgan State University and a certified medical assistant. These studies have strengthened my understanding of health and safety, which is crucial to being a competent caregiver. As I continue my path of education, I hope to become a pediatrician who expresses my genuine compassion for caring for kids, not just physically but emotionally as well. As one of the oldest kids in my family, I have been accustomed to babysitting for quite some time. From babysitting my newborn nieces and nephews overnight to watching my cousins for almost a week. As a previous educator and childcare provider, I have served children in various settings (i.e. full-time nanny, teacher, and camp counselor) for over 15 years. Former 2 year Aupair here :) I took care of a one year old and 4 year old at the same time. Tasks were: Morning routine, Make breakfast & lunch, driving to school, nap time, homework and playing. Also took care of 3 kids at the same time: (6,8,11 years old). Tasks were mainly driving and homework. Also taking care of 2 dogs (feeding, walking, playing). 2 baby boys ( year 1&2) Morning and Night Routine, driving, preparing food, often watched the baby’s over night. I love every age group can’t decide which one was the best. I grew up in a big family with 3 younger and one older sibling, so I’m used to taking care of more than just one kid.
