I have been babysitting since I was 14years old and love kids! I volunteered in the nursery (ages 1 through 4) at my church all four years of high school. In addition, while in college I nannied for two years. I have continued to babysit post graduation as much as I can! I was an early learners tutor at Kumon and taught swimming to kids ages 2 and up. So in addition to Babysitting, I’m well equipped to help with homework and provide swimming lessons!

Hello! I’m Isabella and I am new to the city! I was born and raised in Venice Beach, CA. I moved to New York to be closer to my family who live on the east coast and to live with my best friend who will be attending graduate school at Columbia! I studied Psychology at UC Santa Cruz where I focused on childhood and adolescent development. Throughout college I was a nanny and worked at a local preschool where I was able to conduct my senior research project on emotional regulation in preschool aged children. I formed strong and lasting relationships with the families I worked with and stay in contact to this day. Many families I worked with prioritized Montessori schooling methods, so I am familiar with that style of learning. My first year out of college, I worked as a Teacher’s Aide at a school for special needs children. I worked with children ages 7-14 who had varying IEP’s for things like autism, dyslexia, and ADHD, among others. I was trained in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) methods to de-escalate high-stress situations. I am a highly patient, playful, and responsible person, and I take pride in working with families and children. In the next couple of years, I would like to go back to school for a Master's in Marriage & Family Therapy, as I am interested in relationship dynamics and communication strategies. In my free time, I love to be active and outside! I’ve played volleyball my whole life, so I am eager to find a rec league in the city so I can play. I also love to travel and am lucky that my family prioritized this growing up, so I’ve been lucky to travel with them! My experience as a nanny has varied depending on each family’s needs, but I am familiar with school pickup/drop-off, snack and meal planning, homework help, bed/bath time, and planning daily activities. I have experience and am comfortable with overnights after getting to know the family and their children, as well as traveling as needed. I have over 10 years of experience in child care as a pediatrics nurse and nanny. before I switched over to being an Executive assistant, I worked as a Medial Assistant in a Pediatrics office for 10 years.
