Hi families! I’m Alexa, a nurturing, playful, and dependable caregiver with years of hands-on childcare experience. From daycares, teaching, babysitting and now a nanny for a private family of two years my experience is pretty well-rounded and has given me the skills to adapt to each child’s unique needs with ease and care. I love creating safe, engaging environments where kids can play, learn, and grow with care. From imaginative play and outdoor adventures I’m all about giving children my full attention and making every day both fun and structured. Families describe me as reliable, and genuinely connected to the little ones I care for. I bring patience, creativity, and a big heart to everything I do and your child’s comfort and happiness are always my top priority!
Hello! My name is Ashlynn and I am going into my senior year at Ohio State University. I work at Ohio State’s childcare center, through which I am CPR and First Aid certified and take care of children 0-5. I have been working there for about 3 years, and seeing the children learn and getting to know them is one of the greatest joys of my life. Outside of the center, I’ve babysat since I was 16. I’m energetic, patient, and most of all, I love kids. My primarily language is English, but I am an ASL double major at school and would love to teach your children some signs if that is something you are open to. I can’t wait to meet your family and see if we’re a great fit :)
Hello! I am a graduate student studying for my degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. I am looking for a part-time job outside of my career to help pay for my student loans. I have been familiar with childcare since I was 13 years old! I have been caring for my siblings after school, neighborhood kids, and also infants in my family. I know people don’t typically take familial gigs seriously, but these were paid. In these babysitting jobs, I’d be responsible for bathing, doing homework, entertaining, cooking, and putting the child to sleep. I’d also do cleanly duties around the house to keep it tidy for the parents to come home. I also do have experience in working in a children’s day camp. In the day camp, I was responsible for teaching the children, caring for their safety, taking them on field trips, and taking care of their dietary needs. I have immense attention to detail and adaptability, so if you need any services that I haven’t mentioned, please feel free to talk to me about it. I am fine with pets. I am just unfamiliar with precise care, so as long as directions are provided I’d be good to go. I do have an allergy to cats. However my severity depends on the breed and my proximity to the cat. I’d love to work with you! Hope to hear from you soon.
My name is Sharon. I have raised 4 children of my own, and I have 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. I have over 20 years of experience working with children fromm infants, toddlers, and school age. Please reach out to me, if you’re interested in hiring me.
Hi! I’m Jennifer, and I’ve been caring for children since I was 15. With a Master’s degree in Special Education and a 6-year career as an educator, I bring both experience and heart to every family I work with. I’ve worked with children of all ages in a variety of settings — from babysitting and tutoring to summer camps and early childhood programs like Kidville, The Art Farm in Manhattan, and Broadway Babies. I’m reliable, creative, and love making every child feel safe, engaged, and supported while keeping things fun and organized.

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
