Hi there! I am currently looking for part-time babysitting work. I have a patchwork of experience, working with children from infancy to high-school aged. Most of that comes from working in childcare centers with children 0-4 years old and in after school programs. I have a degree in botany, and I love love love using outdoor spaces to let children explore and develop. While I have a variety of childhood development and psychology courses in my background, I am also continuing my early childhood development education so that I can plan activities to do with children that best fits their age and needs. I volunteered for 10 years in the youth program at my church (Calvary Chapel, Reno/Sparks), worked as the lead teacher of the school-age summer program at Little Knights and Maidens, led the youth program at my local library for many years, and led my own children through myriad sports and activities (soccer, dance, 4H, Scouts, etc). As my own children are recently off to college, I find myself with more time on my hands, and I would love to serve my community while making some extra tuition money for my own kids.
