Hi, my name is Bahia (pronounced ba-ya) and I’m a film major at Pratt Institute! I’m originally from Oakland, California and moved to New York to pursue my education! I am offering child care. I am CPR certified. I have EMSA Health and Safety certification (requirement for working at a school/daycare in CA). I also have gone through the process of having a daycare license in CA, it is not currently active as I now live in NYC! Every summer I work at a french immersion daycare in Oakland called Les BouTchou. I worked there full time from January-August 2024. I worked with babies ranging from 3months to 2 years old both within the daycare and as a babysitter! Additionally I worked as a substitute preschool teacher for kids 2-4yrs also at Les BouTchou. We led activities, hikes, and daily traditions for the entire summer, while keeping kids safe and guiding them through their emotional needs while being away from home.
