Hi! My name is Cris I am from the Dominican Republic and I am based in Brooklyn. I have a BA in Anthropology + Social Practice. I have 4 years of experience in education: 2 years working in elementary after school programs as a creative writing teacher + 2 years as a full time middle school humanities teacher. Every summer for the last two years I have worked part time in a daycare, primarily caring for infants and toddlers. I currently work as an ELA teacher at an arts high school. While enrolled in a research program in Costa Rica I worked in a small rural primary school as a teacher’s aid and English + Social Sciences instructor.
