Columbia University Graduate (BA in Psychology) with CPR/First Aid/AED Certification and experience caring for children of different ages. I’m calm, reliable, and attentive, and I focus on creating a safe and nurturing environment while keeping children engaged through activities like reading, crafts, and play. I communicate well with parents and am happy to support routines, meal prep, and light childcare-related tasks. I also have experience working as a Personal Assistant/House Manager, Companion, Personal Chef and Pet-Sitter. In my free time I enjoy reading non-fiction books, board games, Hanayama puzzles and collecting greeting cards. Fully vaccinated. Fluent in English and Polish.
Hi! My name is Josephine. I'm originally from Portland, Oregon, but recently graduated from Boston College in May, and moved to New York City in June! I've been babysitting since middle school and have the most experience caring for toddlers and school-age children, though I'm happy to work with kids of any age. I'm incredibly responsible, organized, and dependable, and I always strive to create a safe and fun environment for the children I care for. In addition to childcare, I'm happy to help around the house with cooking, cleaning, laundry, dog walking, and other household tasks. I also speak French and a little Spanish, and I'm glad to help with homework or provide extra academic support when needed. A little about me: I love spending time outdoors, exploring New York, and visiting art museums. Whether we're doing crafts, playing outside, reading books, or helping with homework, I enjoy finding activities that keep kids engaged and having fun. I'd love the opportunity to meet your family and help however l can!
Hello! - My name is Sharice, most call me Sha, and I'm currently a sophomore at the School of Visual Arts. I am offering child care, senior care, pet care, and household services. I love being a babysitter and have been caring for kids since I was 10 years old! Most of my experience has come from babysitting younger family members as I grew up in a big family and am the 4th oldest of 14 cousins! My responsibilities have included crafts, entertainment, pick-up and drop-off, tutoring, and even dance lessons. I also work as a household assistant and can cook, clean, and run errands. I have been a caretaker for my own 95 year-old grandma and am comfortable with senior care. I can cook and do many other tasks. Though I was raised in a pet-allergic household, I have been blessed without the allergy and am in love with furry friends!
Hello! My name is Sarah and I am a Brooklyn resident, NYU MFA student, and longtime educator and childcare provider. I spent the last five years running an esteemed fine and performing arts summer camp for children aged 7-17, and have nannied professionally for children ages 3-13. I have experience as a teacher and teaching assistant in NYC Public Schools and most specifically PS75, PS151, and Pace High School. I am looking for some part-time work while in school and would love to connect with you and your family! As my classes change each semester, right now it's hard for me to commit to a schedule past the next few months, but I'd love to be considered for date nights or regular morning or evening shifts! I have a wonderful spouse (who is a full-time K-8 teacher in Brooklyn!) and a corgi named Hoagie. I'm very comfortable with pets and I LOVE to cook! Most recently, I've been making homemade sourdough loaves. I hope to hear from you!
Hi, it’s nice to meet you! My name is Lizzie and I’m 25 years old originally from Charlotte, NC living in LES! I’ve been working remotely in sales for a data analytics firm since 2022 and given the flexibility of my role, I’m looking for child care opportunities. I started babysitting when I was 14 years old and never took for granted the responsibility and joy I felt from working with children. Along with babysitting, petsitting, and life guarding all of high school; I also was a part time nanny (after school, M-F) for the same family my junior and senior year. I’ve worked with children from the ages of 9 month olds- 13 year olds. I’m extremely grateful for my past childcare opportunities because working with children never fails to brighten my day. I love doing crafts, going to the park, and playing games with the children I watch along with helping teach them the importance of fulfilling their daily responsibilities such as homework, chores, politeness, etc. I also love cooking and baking for children and families. I’m mostly looking for work in the evenings (anytime after 4 on weekdays with full day/night availability on weekends) but I do have more afternoon flexibility on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays for occasional one off roles. Looking forward to being a big or small addition to you and your families lives!

"UrbanSitter is my go-to for quality sitters! I can book weeks ahead of time or easily find a same-day sitter when in a bind. I even hired a part-time nanny during a daycare transition. Customer service is helpful and babysitters respond in a timely manner."
