Hi, I’m Andri! I’ve lived in NYC for 9 years and have over 10 years of childcare experience caring for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. I’ve worked with many private families throughout NYC and have experience with both daytime and evening care. I’m kind, caring, dependable, and energetic. I enjoy keeping children active and engaged through outdoor activities, games, arts and crafts, reading, and age-appropriate activities. I also enjoy preparing healthy meals and helping families keep their children’s routines organized. I'm Ali. I’m originally from Seattle and moved to New York in 2015 to study acting. I joined UrbanSitter during college and have been using it as my day job ever since. I have 18 years of childcare experience, ranging from date nights and private nannying to daycare and summer camps. Over the last four years I have began working in arts education as a teaching artist and youth theater director. I’m the 2nd oldest of 10 so I’ve been around young kids my entire life and am used to watching multiple kids at once. Due to being CPR and First Aid certified since I was 12, I’ve gained years of experience watching kids with varying disabilities and medical conditions, and am very familiar with working with children who are autistic, have epilepsy, or have life threatening food allergies. My go to activities are coloring, board games, going to the park, reading, movies, and arts and crafts. Outside of childcare, I am an actor, writer, and run an indie theater/production company. I’ve spent the pandemic studying trauma informed, consent based rehearsal spaces and mental health first aid. Both of these skills have been easily transferable to my childcare work. I have experience teaching at after school programs using the Montessori Method and have been working more as a teaching artist lately, doing theater and improv with kids. Cancellation policy: cancellation less than 24 hours my policy is full payment. If it’s within 72 hours, it’s half the agreed payment, and more than 72 there isn’t a fee. If you come home more than 15 minutes late with no communication I reserve the right to charge a late fee on top of that extra time. If you come home early I still charge for the full time booked since I had to block that time out in my calendar, unless we’ve agreed on it beforehand.

Hello, My name is Hayley. I received my master’s in occupational therapy, working with both children and adults. In pediatrics, I help with developmental milestones, language skills, and fine/gross motor skills. I’ve worked with clients ages 0-16 years old. I was also a certified ABA therapist for 2 years, working with children with autism, focusing on developing communication, social skills, and life skills. I have background and knowledge on proper positioning, feeding, tummy time, and developmental stages for infants. I have been a child care provider for families for 13 years and have been an Urbansitter for almost 10 years. I am CPR certified (infant CPR certified as well). Hello, I'm Gina and I’m so excited to work with you! I’m a graduate of NYU where I received my Masters of Music in Vocal Performance (musical theatre). I’ve received in person guided and hands on training/instruction and certification in both adult and infant First Aid and CPR. I’m the middle child of three children, and one of 22 grandchildren in my family so I am very accustomed to being surrounded by young children running around! My mother has worked as an early childhood educator/administrator my entire life. Many of the tactics she utilized in her classroom were the same ones she used raising my siblings and I. I’ve learned much of what I use in childcare from her, including helping the young ones with their coursework! Hi- My name is Leslie and I’m currently a part time childcare provider and student at Hunter College. I have been caring for children since I was 12 years old and absolutely love it, I am easy going and energetic. Those early interactions with kids is what led me to my career path of studying Early Childhood Education and becoming a teacher. In past and present years my responsibilities have been everything from playing with kids, making meals/snacks, diaper changing, taking to various activities, reading to them, helping with homework, light tidying up, school pick ups and a host of other duties. I have worked with all ages ranging from newborns to pre teens and can also offer numerous references on site if that is something that would make any family feel more at ease. My experience with the elderly/seniors is associated with the care of both my grandparents. I have assisted with giving medications, helping in daily hygiene care, cleaning and making beds, cooking/food prep, taking to appointments and just generally being a friendly ear and companion to help brave the long hours in the day.
