Hi! My name is Erna and I am currently a nursing student in my fourth year at CUNY Hunter College. I have lived in Brooklyn for my entire life and know the different neighborhoods very well. I have 4 younger siblings, two of them being twins which definitely plays a role in my experience and passion for taking care of children. I enjoy babysitting and being around children, having worked with families of all ages for over 5-6 years since I was 14. I have babysat newborns, toddlers, and older children, and even for families with 2-3 children and pets. I also handles household tasks like cleaning, cooking, pick ups, and errands. I enjoy helping, teaching, and having fun with children. Some things about me is that I am fluent in Serbo-Croatian, I love traveling, trying new foods, I have a cat named Milo, and I like playing sports. I would describe myself as energetic and outgoing.
“Thank you so much Erna. My kiddos adored you. ”
Hello! My name is Solangel, and I’m a college student currently looking for one-time or part-time work during winter break. I have experience working with children from infancy through middle school. Most of my experience is with after-school programs, primarily with elementary school students, and I’ve also helped teach younger children both English and Spanish. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. Thank you!
Hello! I am an artist with my Master's of Fine Arts in Acting from Yale, mother of two school-age children, and I have lived in NYC for four years. I'm happy around shy or high-energy children. I love finding ways to reach them that make them feel accepted and in a trusting environment. I love imaginative play, keeping schedules, and helping with homework. Siblings are great, too! Looking forward to meeting you and your kiddos! I absolutely love working with children! When I lived in Texas, I founded a children's theatre camp in Texas for ages 5-18. I developed curriculum, managed scheduling and instructed every class. I have worked as a nanny for over a decade before having children of my own and now take part-time work. Some of my favorite jobs included two brothers, ages 4 and 11 who enjoyed playing adventure make-believe and basketball, respectively, who I nannied for 3 times a week for about a year before graduating. I also loved my time as a nanny for three brothers, ages 6, 9, and 12 who had packed schedules to keep after school: practicing piano, doing homework and playing soccer outdoors, who I watched for over a year. I will also never forget the family who lived in my building here in new york, whose daughters - ages 4 and newborn I watched at least once a week, sometimes more, sometimes just coming over to play and visit; ballet, painting, storytelling, and going on adventures full of imagination and play were all part of the itinerary - all while keeping to the required schedule for feeding and bedtime, of course. :) Most importantly, I have 3 siblings, including two younger brothers, both of whom I adore. I am older than the youngest by 7 years, so by the time I was 13 I not only began babysitting professionally but also proved both my responsibility and joy to play on a constant basis as I watched over my brothers. I have an 11 year old niece who is the apple of my eye. I was 16 when she was born, and my sister worked full time, so my primary job in high school was to come over after school and take over for my mom and watch my niece for the day, starting when she was a newborn to around 2.5 yrs old at 2-3 times a week for long afternoons until my sister came home. I absolutely loved it!
“Rachel seemed very sweet, caring, and professional. My daughter warmed to her right away! I'd definitely hire her again. ”
Hey Parents! My name is Arianny, I am 23 years old, born and raised in Brooklyn with strong Dominican roots. As the oldest of six siblings, caregiving became a natural responsibility early in my life and sparked my passion for working with children. Growing up in a big family taught me patience, leadership, and the importance of creating supportive, joyful spaces for young children to thrive. In my free time, I enjoy baking, a hobby that allows me to be creative and often becomes a fun, hands-on activity to share with kids. I am an accomplished childcare professional with over five years of comprehensive experience supporting the developmental, academic, and social-emotional needs of children ranging from infancy through school age. Currently, I serve as a paraprofessional and hold a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development — a discipline that underscores my enduring commitment to fostering growth, resilience, and curiosity in young learners. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I bring the added value of bilingual communication, enabling me to facilitate meaningful connections across diverse families and to integrate language enrichment into everyday learning experiences. My approach to childcare is guided by patience, intentionality, and a thorough understanding of developmental milestones. I am adept at cultivating safe, nurturing, and intellectually stimulating environments tailored to each child’s individual temperament and strengths. I am available for full time work, occasional babysitting, overnight assistance, as well as open weekend availability. Above all, I am committed to establishing collaborative, trusting partnerships with families to ensure that every child receives thoughtful, developmentally appropriate, and high-quality care. I welcome the opportunity to connect and to discuss how my expertise can best serve your family’s needs.
“Arianny is very kind and sweet, definately recommend her!”
Hi! I'm Morgan and I have almost two decades of childcare experience. I've lived in New York for the past 9 years and currently based in Bed-Stuy. Originally from Orlando, Florida, I made my way north by way of UNC-Chapel Hill, where I graduated before ending up in Brooklyn. Over my nearly decade in NYC, I've worked with several families long-term, and I've also spent time as a long-term substitute teacher in Florida. Families tell me they appreciate that I'm reliable, calm, and genuinely enthusiastic about being there. Right now I'm taking a break from my career in the design agency world, which has given me the chance to do what I love most-- working with kids. I'm currently nannying for a 13-month-old and two 4-year-olds. I'm available for occasional nights and weekend hours.
